the colors are amazing. They are more accurate than my Samsung and Vizio. The brightness levels are also impressive and the to combined give you that mild 3d effect while watching tv. It's not an OLED but but definitely a great tv especially for the price!

We upgraded from a 32" mostly for Disney+. This TV did not disappoint. Initially D+ did not work but I cycled the TV and everything worked perfectly. I also talked with the salesperson about brands, he stood behind TCL and with good reason.

Purchased because of the Roku interface which is very user friendly. Has most of the streaming apps, no HBO Max at the time of this review. The picture quality is good for the price. Sound quality could be a little better. But overall very happy

Bought this specifically because it fits into our entertainment center, which was purchased when box TV's were the thing. The ROKU feature was different but we got used to it. DO NOT BUY THE ROKU WHEN IT PROMPTS YOU!! You already have access just for getting the TV. Picture is great, along with the sound.

I bought this TLC TV because I already own 3 Samsung and wanted to go for a different model tv for one of my guest room and thankfully, the Best Buy employee talked me into but the TLC brand.. It’s everything I wanted in a tv and more!

I bought this Tv for the living room of my apartment and it’s great! The colors are sharp and the picture is clear. It’s still as good as the first day I bought it. The sound is a little lackluster but it’s pretty good for a television.

Excellent quality video and the perfect size for my apartment. Only thing it was lacking was in sound quality and a decent soundbar solved that for me very quickly.

This TV is as good as ones over twice to three times more expensive. Great picture quality, excellent sound, remote very easy to use. There are 3 USB connections on the TV, one for Blueray, one for PS4 and one for Nintendo Switch. This is a great quality TV at a better price.

We were looking for a TV to put in one of our guest rooms in the house but really didn't want to spend a ton of money. We wanted one that had all the things we use (Hulu, Netflix, etc.) and was easy to set up. We found that with this TV. Extremely easy to set up and takes seconds right out of the box.

We have had our TCL 43" 5-series TV for about 1 month & so far we are very happy with it. It works fine with our subscription services (AT&T U-Verse, Netflix, Hulu) & our DVD player. The picture is very clear and the sound (no soundbar) is good.

This is an upgrade for the old LG tv in our bedroom. It is way better than what is needed but it was at a great price on sale. It’s 120hz and it is 4K with HDR. The UI is very user friendly. I love being able to watch any of my apps and YouTube before going to bed. It is a great TV for the bedroom.

Probably the best TV I've ever purchased...budget, quality, speed. I only bought this TV because it was recommended highly for gaming, but I find this just as wonderful of an experience watching movies and tv shows in 4K and even in Dolby Vision (Disney+). Would and will buy again.

I was very impressed by this tv. The metal and glass to glass looks great. The quality of the picture is amazing. The Roku remote is easy and I would recommend purchasing this again. I’m generally an LG or Samsung fan; however the technical specs are outstanding especially the actual 120hz rate.

Love the look of the TV. This is my 2nd TCL vs. (1) Hisense and multiple Samsung products. Generally happy so far with the purchase though I do prefer the clarity of my Hisense model. Built in Roku is a definite prereq.

Got this for my teenage daughter primarily for Roku and the Xfinity app so she can watch TV without the need of a cable box. The TV will pay for itself within 2 years since I'm now saving $10/month off my Xfinity cable bill.

We already had the 55" and 65" of the 6 series in our living/family rooms. We wanted something smaller for the bedroom. The 5 series 43" hits the spot perfectly. The picture is great, the Roku interface is top notch. The sound isn't wonderful but is acceptable for a smaller bedroom.

Great TV and a great deal! Really a do-all device. Plays everything...Netflix Hulu Prime, even my SiriusXM and files from USB thumb drives! Great picture and loud speakers for a lower priced TV. Very happy. Thanks BB!!

Overall, pleased with the TV and all the features. Especially like the mirroring capability with iPhone pictures and videos. Nice to view them on a 43" screen. My only disappointment thus far is the headphone jack in the back of the unit. When I plug in my headphone unit which transfers the sound to my headphones, I cannot go back to the TV speakers without removing the jack from the back on the TV. Very inconvenient given my unit is in a cabinet and I must take the TV out to remove the jack. My other TVs (Sony & LG) allowed you to leave the headphone jack in and just turn the volume down on the speakers to use the headphones. Do not understand why TCL did not do this given all the headphones in use on TVs???

Roku does not support voice remote or closed captions which is available from xfinity, needs 2 separate remotes same as if adding Roku stick to a non-smart TV but picture quality is very good, and it seems a good buy for the price.

This is great tv for streaming. Good picture and sound quality. Roku integrated into the remote is awesome. Bye bye cable !! I just wish the tv had an integrated web browser. If does, I cannot find it. All in all recommended buy !!
