Surprisingly poor picture

Owned for 3 months when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I have last year's model of the 6 series TCL Roku TV with a 65" screen and think it is great (as did many professional reviews). I needed a bedroom TV and figured the current 5 series 43" model would be just the ticket. The picture quality was surprisingly poor, bordering on awful, whether from streaming, satellite TV, Blu-ray player or Xbox One. There was severe banding and posterization of colors no matter what settings I tried. I gave up on it and took it back, then got the current 6 series 55" model instead, which is bigger than I wanted but the smallest in the 6 series. It has an even better picture than my 65" TV. I really like the 6 series of TCL Roku TVs but can't recommend anything below that series.

Legs are too tiny

Blue screen of death in 45 days.

Everything else worked and despite all tips and tricks I could find online to get it restored, I was never able to see the screen again. I was not familiar with the TCL brand so I kept the box but of course the return window was two days before it went.
