Great tv...for about a year.

If you only need it for 14 months, 5 star. If you expect a normal tv lifespan around 5-10 years, take a pass on this one. And don't expect tcl to care.

Our TVs are carefully designed and engineered to give our customers years of entertainment. Our TVs do come with a 1-year parts and labor manufacturer's warranty for those rare times that defects occur. In cases like this, if you purchased an extended warranty, you may want to reach out to see if you can file a warranty claim through the extended warranty company. Furthermore, if you purchased using a credit card, some credit card companies also provide additional coverage. Good for streaming

Right out of the box setup was easy but when connecting to different inputs the screen flashed and gave me multiple error messages. The major draw back was not just the fact you have to be connected to Wi-Fi in order to access extra features that should have been accessible from the menu settings instead but the false refresh rate claims. Both BestBuy ((Please note. BestBuy gets their info from the manufacturer and should not be held responsible for any misinformation )) and TCL's website say 120 cmi and 240 natural motion. I found multiple reviews that proves this TV is only capable of a 60hz refresh rate and this is highly noticeable when watching fast movies or sports. I contacted TCL support and explained my frustration but the outcome was poor. Their tech support didn't understand what I was talking about. I'll never buy a TCL again and would recommend anyone considering one to weigh their options.
