Broke after 1 year, poor quality

There is sound when you toggle around with the remote but no picture, just a powered on black screen. Many others have this problem, TCL bricks their TVs just out of warranty with a software update in some kind of planned obsolescence scam. They will not extend warranty and costs more than purchase price to repair. Now I am left with junk I have to recycle/dispose of. TCLis irresponsible with their lifespan of products.
