    Had for less than 3 weeks, it was great before the screen just started going black. It turns on, I can hear sound, but black screen with back light lightly glowing. One day past being able to bring back to best buy, who has a 14 day return policy only? This is terrible. Now I have to ship my whole dang tv back to TCL to "repair", thanks for 2.5 weeks of tv. Good luck on not getting a defective one if you buy it. I guess I was an unlucky few.

    Great TV, but overpriced

    After purchasing this TV, I found other comparable TVs at much lower costs. Perfectly happy with the quality of the TV, but not so happy with myself for not shopping around.

    TV stopped working after 2 weeks

    The TV just freezes on the startup screen every time. Once in a while I can get it to work if I do a factory reset, which means setting up the TV from scratch again every single time and even then it only works for an hour or so at best. On top of that, Best Buy has the worst return policy I have ever seen in my life. 15 days is just absurd. I'll never be buying a TV from Best Buy ever again.

    This is one of the best TVs on the market superior picture, quality it’s picture and sound is outstanding and also for the price excellent price there’s nothing on the market like this. There’s no other company can compete with TCL prices that you pay for this TV Very intuitive Very easy to work with not complicated menus I like this TV so much I purchase three Adam two for my house and one for my brothers family the TV have excellent features you won’t be disappointed. Take a vantage of it now, while the price has dropped.

    When it worked, it was a great television. This TV didn't even last 4 months. The screen does not light up but the TV powers on; you can still start apps and hear sound but there's no picture. Best Buy refers me to TCL warrantee support and will not repair or refund my purchase. We'll see how well well TCL will support their product, but for now, all I have is an unusable device.

    4 Months and Into the Shop

    I picked up the TV in July and the pick-up service was exceptional. Cannot say the same for the TV. I've had it for a total of 4 months and the screen has gone completely black and I need to schedule service for it. I'm giving TCL and Best Buy the benefit of the doubt and guessing it was damaged in shipping somehow before I received it, but that is speculation. Caveat emptor.

    A joy to set up and use. The color rendition is good. However compared to my Samsung which cost 80.00 more, the dimension of the picture is very poor.

You can access the Options menu on the TV by pressing the asterisk (*) button on your remote while watching content. Additionally, you can access expert picture settings by downloading the free Roku mobile app on a smartphone or tablet. The Roku mobile app works as a remote and allows you to access additional features like voice search, private listening, expert picture settings, and more. Hope this helps & happy viewing!

    Do Not Buy This TV, lasted 32 days

    I ordered this TV online and picked it up curbside. Process was great, simple and easy. Literally 2 days after the period that Best Buy would allow me to return the TV, the picture went out. Turned off one night, next morning no picture. I had to deal with TCL directly. TCL sent me a box and paid for FedEx shipping to return the TV to TCL for repair, not replacement, repair. Sent in a video of the TV to show what was happening and document the perfect condition the TV was in. Was told 7 business days for me to get the TV back. No TV. Called and was directed that I needed to contact the Technician to find out what the status was, oh and by the way the TV screen is cracked. Someone is supposedly figuring out what to do about it. They have proof the screen was not cracked prior to shipment in the TCL provided box with included packing material. Do not buy this TV, great price, but mine lasted for 32 days oh very low usage.

    stopped working after 2.5 months

    Used it almost every day for 2.5 months (external monitor for work, normal TV after work) and the screen randomly broke (went black while watching Netflix and then never showed pictures again). Turning on the TV, the screen goes very dark blue but nothing shows up on the screen and all sound and remote control functions still work. Best Buy wouldn't do anything because this happened more than 15 days after picking it up, had to physically go into the store during this pandemic to find out even though I'm immunocompromised just because Best Buy online chat wouldn't do anything other than tell me to call the local store and the local store's phone only gave the busy signal every time I called for days. Took 2 weeks to get TCL to honor their warranty via multiple phone calls, emails, and pictures, sent the TV to them last week, still waiting to see if I'll actually get it back. Was a super good TV until that happened.

    Nice tv for my kid... in hindsight I should have waited a few days for a Samsung but it was a birthday present so time was an issue.

    The HDMI Ports quit receiving inputs from the Spectrum Cable box, I brought Spectrum in to troubleshoot and after 3 box exchanges I called TCL and troubleshoot for 2 hrs, the Blue ray player is detected which would indicate that the HDMI ports function but then there another issue, it overheats, it's pass the 30 days for Best Buy so I'm waiting on TLC to make the next move which is slowly.

    A decent budget TV. Not a fan of built in roku. Some menus are not user friendly. No way to fix audio /video lag

    the 4K was not as sharp as my LG 55". Was not what I had hoped for so returned it and got a Samsung TU8000.

    you get what you pay for...it's only $250 tv but it broke down in less 11 months...apparently they're known for having a screen issue. it's still under warranty but I have to send it back to TCL for repair, essentially out of TV for 3-5 weeks. Almost not worth it given the price.

    Seemed like a great 4k tv, but had a white circle

    I had purchased this tv but had noticed within the first 2 days that when viewing darker images or even blue, there was a white circle about the size of a dime in the upper left corner. I had thought it was possibly some particulate that had been left on the screen during packaging but this was not the case. It seemed to be burned into the screen.

    2 years later and the TV screen is all black. No damage to it and I didn’t use it as much as my Samsung. Called TCL customer service and they said nothing they can do. Going back to Sony or Samsung.

Our TVs do come with a 1-year parts and labor manufacturer's warranty for those rare times that defects occur. In cases like this, if you purchased an extended warranty, you may want to reach out to see if you can file a warranty claim through the extended warranty company. Furthermore, if you purchased using a credit card, some credit card companies also provide additional coverage.     Cheap and flimsy remote,cannot sync comcast remote with TV so I have to use both remotes.
