What a piece of crap!

Today is August 15 2020 and it's DEAD!! Was watching it, heard a loud cracking POP and that was it! Am so angry to have wasted hard earned money on something that didn't even last a couple week's!!! Of course the "Return period" ended today and of course Best Buy is already closed. A 2 week return period for defective product??

WIFI Connection

Don't waste your money!

TCL support was totally unhelpful because it was outside their 1 year warranty window. It is ridiculous that I would need to buy an extended warranty for a television, but now I'm wishing I had done so. Be warned, any TCL TV could be a ticking time bomb and the next thing you know it's a $300+ paper weight.

Our TVs do come with a 1-year parts and labor manufacturer's warranty for those rare times that defects occur. In cases like this, if you purchased an extended warranty, you may want to reach out to see if you can file a warranty claim through the extended warranty company. Furthermore, if you purchased using a credit card, some credit card companies also provide additional coverage. Perfect until it complete died after 60 days

The sound worked, but there was no picture. So we followed the TCL site's instructions to reset, and now not only is there no picture but the remote won't work to turn the power on and off. I've contacted TCL via their help request email, but based on the forum posts I'm finding online I don't have a lot of hope...

TV stopped working after three months.

Best Buy let me know that they can’t help me because I didn’t buy the extended warranty. I expected it to last longer than a few months. TCL has cut back on their support hours and they are not available to discuss it. I’m wishing I would have bought the tv from a store who stands behind their products.

Already dead after 70 days

I took so long to replace my TV and when I finally do it fails. No picture. Look online and it's such a common issue there are comments, you tube videos, etc all over. Tried soft reset, hard reset, still only sound no picture. To late to return so now I must deal with customer service. If I can even get through to someone right now, which is doubtful. BUYER BEWARE!

Stopped working, lid, but lack screen.

Tried resetting, but no luck. Found in reviews that others had same experience. It will go back to Best Buy tomorrow. Don’t buy TCL! If this would have happen in two weeks from now, I’d have to deal with a warranty claim... I guess I got lucky to have it break in time! Stay away!

tv worked great, died in 3 months

At this point it was just going into my bedroom to use for a few hours a night. Almost exactly three months later it has lost its picture to a black screen. Fun fact if you look online you will find a lot of complaints of this happening.

Large round yellow rings in display

TV was great the first 8 months. The display now has large round yellow marks that nothing will correct. They are always in the background and very noticeable. I would not recommend.

Black screen after 25 days

Junk. Don't waste your money

Attempted repair by replacing the 3 boards with no luck wasting more money. Save your money and buy the older models. I have 3 of them still running near 5 years later now
