There is a tab on the upper right-hand side that says "Carefully remove protective material after installing TV". This tab can be used to remove the protective film and any additional protection on the screen. Broke in only 5 months!

The only thing that I dislike about this tv is the remote control, I felt that it would have been nice if TCL had put more thought in the process of making it.

For the price, you cannot beat it. Great picture, but the highlight is the sound. It's phenomenal for the price. It's loud and has great quality. You will not be disappointed.

Great tv, tiny room (my bad)

Overall very happy with this upgrade...just think my bedroom is too small to properly view it. It essentially sits at the foot of my bed. So if you are purchasing for your bedroom, just make sure it won’t be too close to you. Sound is great!! Graphics from the xbox hooked up to it look great and 4k movies look great as well!

Having Roku built in is great for cord cutters as you don't need an additional device to stream. I bought this for a bedroom so it doesn't get the use my main tv does but so far in my limited use I have no complaints. The remote takes a little getting used to but that wasn't a big deal to me. I do have to reconnect it to my network most times when I turn it on, but I think that is more related to it being a good distance from my router.

TV has black screen after 2 and a half years
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I purchased this tv in about 2 1/2 years. It has good picture quality during the time I was using it. But all of a sudden, the screen went black and audio is still fine. I did a factory reset and still black screen. Geek squad tried to repair it but main board replacement did not fix it. I ended up getting a store credit since TV is not repairable. Make sure you buy a protection plan as it will help you in case that tv has a defect after the 1 year warranty.

Definitely worth the investment
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Got this set for my mom, who has been struggling with health issues since 2015 due to a stroke and also with problems with her legs (bad hips, facing replacement on at least one if not both of them). Television was incredibly easy to set up once I got the unit's MAC code entered into my secured wi-fi network, and is able to work with Comcast's Xfinity Stream app so that my mom can watch all of her favorite channels. =)
