This TV has beautiful video and very good sound. The tiny remote is horrible. Difficult to hold and navigate. Volume control on the side is not good for big hands. Leading me to purchase an alternative remote. Otherwise, this TV is a great purchase and reasonable priced.

With so many 4K TV's in the market, it is really difficult to find the best TV for one's need. I bought this TV a second time (for my mother this time) since my mother in law really likes it with the one I purchased for her last year. They use the TV's in the bedroom and they do not require a TV with OLED picture equality. With an apple TV attached to the HDMI, it is pretty much a bigger ipad and every thing works as intended. Now with Airplay built in, I think Roku 4K TV's have their advantages - best interface with Airplay support and Android streaming/mirroring support (although it doesn't work as well as a Chromecast). So if you are not too picky on picture quality, then this TV may just work for you (TCL seems to be a pretty decent TV manufacturer -- I'd say it is better than a lot of named brands that are now outsourced or sold to other companies).

I bought this trying to find a TV that was 4K and had a budget in mind, but this TV was way lower than the budget I had in mind, and I was blown away at how good it has been thus far! The picture quality when streaming HBO/Hulu/etc is so much better than watching it on my old 1080p screen, and gaming has been much more enjoyable.

I got this specifically because of the built in Roku feature. The size is perfect for the smaller bedroom we have. Picture quality and sound is great. It serves it purpose especially with the Roku. I had to return the Insignia TV to get this instead because Insignia couldn't download the app I needed.

The quality you get for the price you pay is amazing. Makes a perfect bedroom TV. The colors look great. I also like that the first menu option that comes up is the sleep timer. Great for falling asleep to. This TV is also very well suited for gaming. I recommend it.

Pretty much like the TV. Set up was easy and has a great picture. The only issue I have is the remote. The volume control is on the side and I keep hitting the mute button when scrolling. This gets quite annoying. Otherwise a nice television.

Purchased this as a gift for my daughter in college. She loves it and the Roku interface is awesome. Picture quality is great. Very happy with this TV.

This is what it says: an LED 4K UHD Smart Roku TV ; it won't quite match up to, say, a SONY Bravia or one of Samsung's 8K models -- at the same time, if having Roku TV built in is important, along with ease of use, coupled with reliability and quality, then this TV definitely delivers.

The store clerk was very good in helping me decide what I needed for this purchase. The TV has everything I was looking for. Great picture, price and the apps I wanted. Much easier to use than the Amazon Fire TV. Better versatility.

This was easy to set up - I plugged it in and it gave me instructions on the screen about what to do from there. Adding an antenna for broadcast TV and subscriptions for Amazon Prime and Disney + were also easy. The picture and sound are excellent. Overall I am very happy with this so far.

So far, I'm quit pleased with this product, but I've only been using it for a few months. As yet I don't know it's full potential or it's weaknesses. I really like the many options Roku makes available. The TCL hardware delivers a good quality picture/ sound and smooth delivery. Good buy for the money.

A good TV for the money with the Roku operating system built in. Easy to set up and adjust to your liking. This is our 2nd TCL set and find them a good value. Would like to move up to the 7 or 8 series, space permitting.

I loved this TV. I used it as a computer monitor and a gaming TV. I had this for 1 year+ until my Dad crushed it in his overly-tight grip while moving it. I'd buy another in a minute, but they don't seem to make them anymore. So... this review is for what?

Our goal was very simple. Update an older flat screen TV with the latest technology, and start getting rid of these cable boxes. This TV did the trick! Great picture, better sound, lightweight, built-in ROKU for smart access, and a terrific price! So good that we bought a second one days later.

TCL tv is really a great buy if you are looking value. The picture quality is great and built-in Roku is spectacular. This is my first time using Roku and I did not realize how great it is. I have my Netflix, Hulu, and Disney + set up there and it was fantastic. I'm happy to give TCL brand a chance.

Love this television. Easy to setup and use. Up in running in less than 10 minutes. It was a perfect size for us and the picture quality is outstanding. Glad I made the decision to buy this particular brand and series 5. The sales person was very helpful and knowledgeable as well.

Ratings are relative. That being said, for the money, so far an excellent choice! Blues and reds are brilliant, Smooth picture, not grainy. Easy menu navigation. Many features for your money - ie: Roku, HDMI inputs, HDMI ARC, Analog and Digital outputs - variable and fixed levels! Bought new and very well packed and protected - plastic coverings on everything. Nice and intuitive user interface. TCL does not lock you in to having to choose their brand accessories to compliment the tv - ie: sound bar. Purchased 5 year protection plan with tv. I have Total Tech and I highly recommend it! BestBuy very helpful in my process for new tv and appreciate Best Buy very much! Waiting for them to restock the microwave I want and will buy that from them as well.

I had really low expectations but my mom has the 4 series and she was satisfied with hers so I decided to spend the extra dollar on the newer 5 series and I was blown away by the quality. It streams in 4K 95% of the time and the brightness and sound quality is more than exceptional. The motion rate is also perfect for using as a gaming monitor, which was another huge selling point for me. The bezels are almost nonexistent. Roku TVs are the easiest to use in my opinion and the processor is very snappy with almost no loading time between applications. The only thing I would change is the remote quality. It feels a little less premium compared to the screen which feels and looks very premium. Sometimes the remote can be a little laggy but not enough to prevent me from recommending it to a friend.

Terrific TV, Glad I bought Class 5, Such crisp color and image, sound great, amazing for price. Roku is so easy. Use stream apps or antenna no need for cable or Satelite just standard wifi. Have had for about a year now year now

Awesome for the money. I got this to use for an outdoor deck. For under $300 the picture quality and sound are great. Easy to set up. Roku interface is quick. We will see how long it lasts but like I said it’s for outdoor use so I did not want to spend $1000
