Beautiful true HDR picture

It was my first 4K television and I couldn't have been happier. Playing PS4 and Switch on here is a dream come true. Beautiful true HDR picture. I also use it as my fourth computer monitor. The future series of TCLs after this are going to be stellar. The Roku UI is so perfect, I wish all Smart TVs had interfaces like it.

Great picture

Usually I buy Panasonic or Samsung. But there was a one day sale and the reviews on this tv were outstanding so the sale was too good to not buy it. We set it up in like 15 mins and flipped it on and the picture was outstanding. Great sound. Roku included. I have only had it on for a couple of days but so far it is outstanding.

TCL-49 5Series
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.This TV is great so far , no problems and the price is hard to beat, especially with the ROKU built in , it is easy to use and set up. it's a new company , at least to me but for the price I figured it was worth a try since my Samsung died after around four years. I got the 5 year warranty to be on the safe side until I see how long a TCL will last and still cheaper then the Samsung or close to the same price but now I have five years !

Quite good, a nice fit for the size.

If you want an even bigger increase in picture quality then hop up to TCL's 6 series, but for a 49 inch set I think this checks most of the boxes. If you go to a 55 inch set then the 6 series is a no-brainer, but at this size I thnk this is a pretty good sweet spot for price and performance.
