Tv looks great. Colors pop and are vivid and the blacks and contrast are good in my opinion. Have had a couple weird little hints happen where I had to look up how to reset the tv. Lines in it once and locked up once but I think that time was because my son turned off the power strip before turning off the tv

The ROKU 49" SMART TV is as promised. Streaming is a breeze via internet connection. You do have to invest in a few apps to get the programming you want. A connected flat antenna will access local programming in most metropolitan areas. Set-up was easy, even for a non-techie like me.

We love the picture, however, the sound is disappointing you can turn it up but it makes very little difference. Never figured out the free trials. Ended up getting billed for things like hulu that I never wanted permanently. Have had to take a lot of time to sort out these things on my charge card.

This TV is great! With the addition of the Roku function already built inside, it just makes streaming and being able to watch Live TV so much easier. The picture quality is crystal clear and the size is just right. I don't think anyone will be disappointed if they purchase this TV.

This was recommended to me and brought it home and wasn’t overly impressed at first but I played around with the picture settings for quite a while and am convinced that the following settings are best TV brightness - Brighter Sports setting low micro contrast low dynamic contrast Color temp - normal

Took a risk on this brand from the sales person’s suggestions. Hadn’t heard of this brand but gave it a shot. If I used a Roku account I would rate it 5 Stars. I hooked up my Apple TV to it and it took a few more steps but works fine. I am very pleased with the picture and overall performance.

We were skeptical about this brand because we had never heard of it before but it has worked well for us and was a great value for the cost. My only small gripe is that it has like a nightlight on it but I would like to be able to turn off since it’s in our bedroom but if not let me able to figure that out yet

Bought this for our cabin which doesn’t have internet hoping we could use our hotspot and get a good picture. Answer: ABSOLUTELY,!! Easy to set up. Easy to use. Sound is good for a flat screen but obviously not as good as a separate sound bar or home theater.

Wanted TV that would accept Ethernet cable to eliminate buffering fro Vudu when kids watch digital movies they own. Mounting holes not well set and screws provided 50% didn’t work. That being said Roku is easy picture satisfactory for patio. Good price. Make sure you are prepared for mounting issues.

Love my Roku ready TV. I think TCL has some of the best value for the money. I have this one in my workout room. No wires. Only issue is it sometimes takes a minute to connect initially to WiFi, but I will blame that on Xfinity.

I wanted a Roku tv that was around this size, and the salesperson at Best Buy recommenced this one. It’s been great - very easy to use, easy to add apps. I have a smaller Roku tv, so I already knew I liked them. This might be the tv to help me get rid of cable, lol!

Though I don’t own any 4K devices as of yet. I decided to future proof myself with something that had the ability to display 4K for any future console that come out. Though, I have only played on 1080p, the picture is decent enough for the price paid.

loved the tv and deliverly was on time, we got the tv installed and the boys jumped in the bed and started watching. they get certain time to watch and it has been so great. the color is good no problem with the boy using the remote. i would recommend this tv to anyone

Picture is excellent, sound is good for a flat screen. It's a little different with set up and initial operation than others I've had. You will have to pick your source every time you turn it on. A lot more steps, it seems to adjust sound and picture quality. Just getting used to it.

TV has really good picture and sound quality, especially for the size. Only gripe would be a slight amount of light bleed in the bottoms corners, but it's only noticeable in limited circumstances. Absolutely a great TV for the price, highly recommended.

Bought this TV, after my Samsung Plasma gave out. Great picture for a $300 TV. Having problem pairing Roku with my Comcast cable, but read that seems a common problem with Comcast. Not that big a deal with me. No other issues or problems so far.

Didn't expect much going into it, but the picture is amazing. The Dolby vision looks great and the upscaling really makes a difference. The built in Roku is a definite plus. The picture is not too far off from my Samsung that cost a whole lot more!

I was iffy about buying a brand name I wasnt familiar with but the price was so low, I couldnt say no. It also came with roku so that was a plus. I set it up for my mom and the colors are very vivid and the picture was great. Overall great buy.

I bought this TV to replace the 32 inch I had in my bedroom for eight years. It’s a great TV with excellent color and contrast. It is not as good as the TCL 6 series which I have in the family room but for the price you cannot go wrong with this 5 series.

Loving the TV so far, haven't had any issues. Roku enabled TV was the way to go for all the apps already loaded on. Only recommendation is before getting a soundbar, make sure to check if it will obscure the remote sensor. Other than that, no issues.
