Too smart for its own good

If you just want your TV to function as a monitor and run your smart apps through an Xbox, Fire TV, Apple TV, etc buy something else. 3 stars for price, size, picture. You have you tell this thing to connect to a specific input every time you turn it on. Good luck with a smart remote with macros. This TV needs at least two button pushes to get where you want it to be.

You can actually program the TV to where it powers on to a specific input. Here are steps to accomplish this. Please go to the following: Settings>System>Power>Power On>choose which input you would like your TCL Roku TV to power on to. Also, here is a link with more information. (https://support.tclusa.com/23507-roku-tv/how-to-set-input-displayed-on-power-on) Hope this helps!

The only issue I have with this tv is the glare is a bit overwhelming and can bring some undue stress in trying to darken the room enough to see a nice picture. But for the price can’t complain much. Good stater tv, reliable, just place it in a dark room.
