Never purchase and not open before leaving

Buyer Beware

Disappointing imagine quality and fragile

Cons : The image quality is acceptable if you are perfectly in front of the TV, but it quickly becomes darker if you move to the side. Don't buy this TV if you have a large sofa. This TV is also extremely fragile; so fragile that you are not allowed to carry the box flat. It must stay vertical. 2 weeks after the installation, our 2 years old hit the corner with a little toy car, and the entire screen went dark. Neither Best Buy nor TCL would pay for the repairs, so we purchased a different from a renowned manufacturer. It was 100$ more expensive but the picture quality is a lot better.

Terrible purchase

2 man/ woman assembly job

TCL 4k TV, Good solid TV!

In order to use the smart features of this TCL Roku TV, you would need to complete the guided setup. This includes connecting to the Internet via WiFi, creating a Roku account (completely free), and activating the TV (completely free). However, if you just want to use this TV as a traditional TV by connecting external devices through the various inputs and not use the smart features, you can elect to not connect this TV to the Internet at startup. You will still have access to all of the inputs and features of a traditional TV.
