I noticed some issues with color saturation and pixelation. This was a darker scene that had a black light in the scene. I ended up putting the screen in “game mode” for a better refresh rate. Man, for a 300 TV I was really impressed. I’ve never bought a TCL. I’ve had a Pioneer Elite plasma. LG 3D tv. Sony Bravia series. Samsung OLED. It’s not a premium tv but I’d buy another one.

I called four times speaking with people who couldn’t help me and just told me I had to drive clear out to Bellevue again which I didn’t have a chance so I ended up getting a remote off Amazon after five days I was able to watch my new TV

Good TV but Damaged.

Best Buy, on the other hand was not so lovable! Salesperson mentioned, as he was putting tv into car to drive careful because Best Buy does not replace physically damaged tvs, and then walked away. Made us skeptical! What’s to say the tv wasn’t already damaged in the box? Kind of like he knew something was wrong. We almost chased him down, but decided to take our chances. Upon removing the tape from around the screen, the bottom strip was detached from the glass. It doesn’t affect the picture and you can only notice it up close, so, something I guess we will have to live with, since we were heeded that warning! Not sure if it was a manufacturer defect, or a Best Buy blunder, but not so happy with this purchase! Even if we would have inspected it in the store, it was unnoticeable until the tape was removed. Probably won’t be shopping with this store again!

Good picture quality but quirky sound issue

It was more time consuming to set up than the other tv's that I own. I have an LG sound bar, so I connected it to the HDMI arc on the tv. I direct connected my DirecTV box to HDMI 2. The sound when I am watching it that way is very good. The quirky part is, despite having the sound bar directly connected to the tv, when I use a streaming apps like Netflix, Hulu, HBOMax, Prime Video, or Disney (which are built into the tv), there is no sound through the soundbar. I have to turn the sound bar off and listen through the tv speakers. I have a digital audio cable connected as well, but when I disconnect the HDMI arc cable to use it, there is no way to turn off the tv speakers. If I could resolve that issue, I would feel better about the tv and rate it higher.
