Save up a little more and get something else. Impossible to instal popular apps, doesnt work easily with phone and headphones etc. Basic.

Roku is a streaming platform that offers many features, including thousands of streaming channels (apps) and over 500,000 movies and TV episodes. Some content is free while other content is subscription-based or pay-per-view. You can go to www.Roku.com/whats-on to see what streaming channels and apps are offered through the Roku Channel Store. To search for a specific channel you would simply want to enter that information into the search section. Hope this helps!

Great picture if the image is still

The tv also goes dark for a few minutes once in a while. It’s not what I had expected from the reviews I had read. After doing a little research into these issues it seems that the models above this one don’t have them.

great TV but remote sensor doesn't work

I have to be on the same level or at a level above the TV to make the remote work. This is not good. Even though the picture quality and sound are great, I have to consider returning the TV just because the remote sensor is bad.

Not what it advertise

Because I wasn't looking for a tv with Roku on it with a Roku remote. Very disappointed when it arrived. It does not say anything about roku when I was reading about it. It has a very nice picture though.

Thank you for taking the time to provide your feedback. All of our Roku based TVs have Roku operating systems built into the TV. In order to use the smart features of this TV, you would need to complete the guided setup. This includes connecting to the Internet via WiFi, creating a Roku account (completely free), and activating the TV (completely free). However, if you just want to use this TV as a traditional TV by connecting external devices through the various inputs and not use the smart features, you can elect to not connect this TV to the Internet at startup. You will still have access to all of the inputs and features of a traditional TV. Hope this helps!

Smart TV with not so smart components.

The Smarthub is needed for app control -- currently I've been working with Samsung customer support for two hours and will likely need to have a technician come out to my home to replace the TV's main board. I would not recommend this product.

Wouldn't Buy Again-Only works with Roku BT Speaker

To my complete surprise they will not work with any other Bluetooth speakers, but ROKU. Therefore, all my other sound bars and BT speakers will not wirelessly stream my movie audio in the rooms without either paying another $300 - $600 for ROKU branded wireless speakers and sub, or have old school cables draped everywhere. It's ridiculous in this day and age for a company to try to block openness in a home platform. Its backwards and clearly a greedy business decision by Roku and TCL. Extremely disappointed by the lack of open Bluetooth support. I am not buying another TCL and will be back to using Samsung TVs.

If you are trying to connect a sound bar or speakers you can use the Optical port, or the HDMI ARC port. For Headphones, there is a Headphone jack on the back of the TV, or you can download the Free Roku app for private listening. Hope this helps!

Disappointing

Also randomly although rarely shuts off just to take its sweet time to boot back on for about a minute which is a huge negative if you are watching/playing something that can't be paused.

Motion Blur

We've tried adjusting all settings, but can't seem to get rid of it. Unfortunately, we waited too long to hang it above our fireplace, and the return date passed. Best Buy couldn't offer a solution, and we're now stuck with a TV that is irritating to watch.

HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE

Been calling Best Buy for the past 2 days been on hold for over an hour each day with no luck I just eventually hang up. Now I have to make preparations to get this tv back. This is a HUGE INCONVENIENCE!!!!!

Amazing!
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Display: For the most part, this TV has an awesome picture. Colors are vibrant, HDR works well, and the TV can get very bright which will make the colors pop even more. Viewing angles are great as well. You can sit more to the left or right of the TV without the picture quality decreasing. However, I have noticed if your screen is on a still picture like a loading screen, the corners can be a little darker than the rest of the picture. It's only noticeable with lighter colors. It's not a big deal for me since you don't see it at all when you're watching TV, movies, videos, or when you're playing video games. A similar issue happens in darker pictures, the screen can be lighter in some areas on the screen. I only notice this on loading screens though. I don't see it happen any other time so it doesn't bother me. Gaming: Although I haven't tested out many games on this TV yet, I can say the TV seems to handle games pretty well. Games run smoothly on the tv and there's little to no motion blur. Sound: The sound on this tv is pretty basic. Everything sounds even and produces sound nicely. I think this tv has a slightly better sound quality than the other TVs in my house. I would recommend getting a soundbar if you want more of a theater experience with your tv. Wifi: I have not had any issues with connecting to the wifi or staying connected. Everything runs smoothly and the tv is fast when it comes to loading up apps. Roku TV: Roku is simply amazing. You have the ability to download as many apps you want. When you search for a movie or tv show, it will bring up a list of many apps you can watch them on. It will list it in order from cheapest to most expensive so you don't have to overpay when you rent a movie or tv show. I love how Roku has an unbiased approach to the tv. The ads only promote free things you can watch and they stay out of the way. Overall: I give this TV a 9 out of 10.

Not good value, failing after 2 years
