A: So the thing is... TVs are measured bottom left corner to top right corner, or diagonally, across the screen. Soo... Remember Geometry class in high school. A^2 + B^2 = C^2 Well you have to use that to figure it out. The TV is 28.1" by 48.4". So 28.1^2 is 789.61 and 48.4^2 is 2342.56. Added together that is 3132.17. Now you take the square root of that and you have 55.967 inches. So you are actually getting a 55.967 inch TV for the price of a 55 inch, almost a full inch bigger for FREE.

A: Generally TVs do not come with any cables besides the power cable to hook into the wall. The cable(s) you would need just depends on your source. A Blu-ray Player you would need to buy and HDMI Cable. Any will do, no need to buy the expensive ones. If you have a standard DVD player then the analog (yellow, red, & white) cable. This TV comes with a little adapter to hookup the analog cords if needed. But lastly this TV is a smart TV utilizing Roku’s software which runs great. You would just need Wi-Fi to connect the tv to like your laptop or phone. Then you can stream tv like Netflix, Hulu, Amazon, Apple TV, etc. Hope this helps!
