Compare with any manufacturer for the same features to see how good this tv is and the value is clear. Set up is easy and fast.

Great TV for the price bracket when it's on sale. I'd say only buy it if you see it for $300-350. Otherwise if you can go up another $150-$200 I'd go 6 series. It's great for a mid-budget TV as far as color and picture quality, but the HDR and expanded color gamut aren't much to brag about on this model. Quick note: The Roku YouTube app doesn't handle videos that aren't a native 16:9 aspect ratio very well. Picture option won't display and sometimes weird artifacting will happen. I fully believe its a Roku software thing and NOT a hardware issue though so a software update may fix it eventually.

Interface is easy to use and fluid. Picture settings are great for all uses. Colors and sound have been crisp.

Love this TV. The Roku Apps are a big plus. I have Samsung and LG TVs and the picture quality of the TCL is just as good if not better. The Roku remote doesn't have numbers on it but that doesn't bother me at all because I mainly use the TV for Netflix, Hulu, and Amazon Prime. I have no issues with drop wifi connections so am able to stream movies/shows without any issues. Sound quality is decent but if you have issues with the sound then buy a sound bar.

Had previously bought my daughter a Westinghouse TV that broke after a couple months and the company was less than helpful so we needed to get a new tv for her. This time I chose TCL because my son bought one a loves it. Well my daughter was very happy and the quality of this one and it is way better than the other one. She absolutely loves it. Great picture quality. I did get the geek squad protection just in case though. I won’t make that mistake again.

I bought this TV as a replacement for my Vizio 55 inch 4k smart TV, which burnt out from a faulty power supply. I've had the Vizio for about a year and a half and I thought the picture was impressive; and the Smartcast platform offered so much content. But when i powered up the TCL, me and my wife were floored. We had no idea what 4k was at all before this. We're rewatching everything! And the Roku platform leaves Smartcast in the dust. Great buy!.

Overall this is an excellent TV for the price, easy to use and enjoy. The roku is a simple and user friendly.

This is a great tv for the money. Excellent picture quality, lots of extras and the setup was quick and painless.

We have no complaints. The color and size are both great and we haven't had any technical difficulties.

I bought this TV this time a year ago. It has been great tv. I enjoyed my 720p 42 LG for 10 years and then a 1080p 50" LG for several years after that. I wasnt in the market fir a 4k TV. My son got the series 6 LG and my other got this series 5. I was truly impressed by the quality and features of this TV. I love the TCL and the roku smart platform. These TV's do a great job of uncovering bluray and broadcast tv.
