I like everything about the picture given that it's an LED. No lighting issues. Great colour. Excellent blacks. Great contrast. You'll want to keep the screen set to Brighter, and don't want it in a room that is too too sunny, but other than that, it works really well and, at $329, it's remarkable. My only regret is that it doesn't have a decent audio output. I'm also not altogether sold on Roku, and tend to just use my Apple TV for all my viewing.

This is an update to a Sony 46” lcd that I moved into a bedroom. They had the 50” TCL on display at Best Buy and the picture was excellent so I went home and ordered the 55” TCL series 5 and it was promptly delivered. Unpacked, legs on, moved to stand, linked to Wi-Fi, signed on to Hulu and Netflix in an hours time. What a pleasant surprise this TV is, the picture is amazing, bright and crystal clear! Definitely a ‘Best Buy’! Definitely would recommend!

After much research and deliberating, I decided to go with this TV. It has everything I wanted and was very reasonably priced. Delivery was on time and the unit was undamaged. Set-up was a breeze. I wanted to replace my older 55 inch tv with one that was had all the new tech advances and also a smart tv (Roku); this did both. Added a sound bar and it's perfect. At this point, I'd highly recommend the TCL to friends. No problems.

Hands down one of the best deals on a 4K TV. The ROKU built in streaming bests pretty much any other TV interface in the biz. Picture quality is really really good, only maybe bested by TV’s 2-3 times the price of this 5series. Check CNET and they say virtually the same thing about these models. Skip the entry level bare bones big brand names and get this!

It was so easy to set up & I’m thrilled with the quality of this tv. It’s all that I hoped it would be.

We had the 4 Series TCL and the panel stopped working after about 18 months. We bought the Geek Squad Protection Plan with that one, so this 5 Series is the replacement we received. It has a few upgrades from the 4 Series so picture quality is better. Bought the Protection Plan for this one too! Service call and then replacement and delivery were easy. I am spoiled by Roku TV and like that this in integrated into the TCL.

This was a terrific Christmas surprise. We have been watching an old tv (12+ years) that really lacked size and clarity. This new tv does everything better. We especially like that the sound is more clear downstairs without being loud enough to hear it upstairs. We had to attach a different stand to fit our table but that went on very easily and is very able to hold the tv. We are all enjoying how easy it is for us all to watch comfortably.

I shopped around and researched quite a bit for a 4K tv in this price range. This one had the best reviews and I can see why. It was easy to setup- my 11 y.o. son did it. The picture is great! We’ve used it for gaming, streaming, and watching bluray movies. We’ve enjoyed the beautiful crisp colors and great sound- no issues with pixelations. Great buy!

Have had this for about a month now. It seems to work great other than playing COD I do get a little blending of blocks at the bottom of the screen in certain areas of the game. I didn't get this with my old tv and I have tried adjusting the setting and screen size to no change. However, this is the only issue I have had with it. TV and other games all run fine. Setup is relatively easy and I am very happy with my purchase. Also, it is on my dresser and if I close a drawer too hard it will disrupt the screen image for a second.

This TV has a great picture and is easy to install and use. Very happy with the product.

I never heard of TCL before, but my brother-in-law raved, so I check out this unit. we are not gamers or even spend a lot of time on videos. But I have been impressed by the color and clarity of the picture. I have held my breath for a while waiting to see if the impressive picture would become less so. I am Still impressed, especially for the price. I guess I'll keep my brother-in-law for now...

Game changer. Picture is so crisp, easiest set up ever, and all the free apps....hooked!

When I got this tv to replace my monitor for my pc and Xbox I was worried about the input delay but I was shocked on how well this tv performed. It has very little or no input lag and the HDR is absolutely stunning. It easily compares to the high end TVs for the price you pay for it. This is hands down the best tv you can get for the money.

Awesome TV! Best bang for the $ IMHO I especially using the app to control the TV & even though this TV doesn’t have Bluetooth, I can connect my wireless headphones to the app in which cuts out the sound coming from the TV for late night viewing not to disturb others! Picture quality is top notch! I definitely recommend this TV 5 stars!!!
