Picture and sound our awesome. Only thing keeping me from 5star review is the remote doesn’t seem to work unless 3ft away and then not always. I’ve even put different batteries in just in case.

Doesn't work all the time but the picture quality is great!

For $800 bucks, not a bad TV, picture, quality, sound, quality, exceeded my expectations. Save yourself sometimes and do not connect to the Internet, the TV will last longer without having issues of it running out of memory/storage. An excellent TV for gaming weather it’s an Playstation 5, Xbox Series X, or a Nintendo Switch, worth the money buying.

I bought at Best Buy rather than Amazon b/c I could pick the TV up at Best Buy - if the box was damaged or something I could reject it and ask for another one. Or, if the TV was defective, I could bring it back to Best Buy. And Best Buy's price was the same as Amazon's. I purchased online and the TV was waiting for me to pick it up less than an hour later. Two young men loaded it into my car. I got the Google TV version rather than the Roku because w/Google you can pair a BlueTooth keyboard - important to us oldsters who are used to typing things in. You can't with Roku apparently. So far, I love the voice search. Maybe I'll find I don't need the keyboard after all. It's 120Hz refresh time. I'm not sure I can tell the difference. The picture is fantastic if you're watching something that's fantastic to look at in the first place. It won't make 1980s music videos look any sharper. Nothing will. The remote/user interface is pretty good, I reckon. I was up and running and happy within about 30 minutes of plugging it in. My only gripe: the process for selecting the optical audio out option (I run a TOSLINK cable to my audio streamer and stereo system) wasn't/isn't very clear when you just try to wing it. But, I looked at the Users Manual online and fiddled with it and got it to work. Nice TV. I'm happy.

Fantastic TV. Picture quality is amazing. Sound could have been better but TVs have similar bad sound. Very bright.

Great picture! Perfect for gaming. Didnt think i would like the google interface but now like it way better than roku. Crisp picture, great dark levels for movies and game

Very happy with this TV. I purchased a different brand and wasnt happy with it. But i really like this one. Its much more premium than other TCL TV’s. Nicer frame, speakers, etc. im very happy with the pixture, too. The HDR mode and the dolby vision mode are nice. I also really like the Google TV UX.

This TV arguably beats a lot of other TVs in way higher price ranges. With the $700 Black Friday price tag, I don’t think you can get this much bang for your buck anywhere. Colors are amazing, motion is unreal, plenty of brightness, and black levels are just a couple steps behind oled. I haven’t had the glitchy software bugs other users have experienced. I have tested Apple TV, HBO Max, YouTube, Netflix, plex, Hulu, ESPN, and Disney+ and have not had any issues. I don’t have any WiFi issues and set up was a breeze. I had a problem connecting my soundbar via arc but realized I just had to turn on CEC and it’s worked flawlessly since. The picture quality is descent out the box, but you definitely wanna adjust the picture settings to your liking. If you put in the time to calibrate, you will see the true value of this tv. If you can get this TV on the Black Friday sale @ $700 then you are getting an amazing deal. If you have to pay full price I would start to look at oled.

Great image quality and excellent OS. It has HDMI 2.1 for modern consoles, Dolby vision HDR, local dimming and every feature you need today.

Excellent TV with very impressive contrast and color. The black levels are exceptionally good and the brightness really pops in HDR. The Google TV platform works great and has already been improved with a couple of updates (I mostly avoided the issues other purchasers have seen). Also very easy to set up and change settings which you can set up to carry across different Apps and inputs. Only bad experience so far has been the Dolby Vision performance in the Disney+ App - either a very dark picture or if the brightest picture setting is chosen the backlight goes crazy and makes for a hazy picture with terrible contrast. This appears to be an app problem as dolby vision looks great on native Netflix App and Disney+ via an external chromecast.

Purchased my tcl mini-led with google on clearance as my tcl mini-led Roku was giving me some issues after 3 years of moderate use. I thought it would basically have the same picture and didn’t expect much of an upgrade. Boy…was I wrong! The google mini picture is so much better than the Roku mini, I’m starting to wonder if there was something wrong with my Roku all along. They have nearly identical specs but the google mini looks massively better! Only thing I prefer that my Roku mini-led had was its ability to get really, really bright. If you have a chance to choose between the two I highly suggest you go with the google mini-led…you won’t be disappointed!

Pros: -Picture Quality is Superb for this level of tv. -Sporting events and fast action are sharp with no blurring. -Very Bright, easy to see the Darkest of Darks. ( i.e. GOT S:8 E:3) -The screen makes it within an 1/8th of an inch to the frame, leaving very little waisted black space around the perimeter. Cons: -The bottom is a bit thick and it made mounting tough with a flush wall mount. -The sound is just okay, would like a bit more definition especially with the thickness of the set. Overall: Quality TV set for the money, would recommend to anyone.

Got the TV on Pre Black Friday sale. Great price for nice picture. At startup the TV can be a little slow to respond. Still a few minor issues to work out that will hopefully come with some firmware updates (like the settings button exiting to the Home screen, etc). I have not done much to calibrate/adjust the TV, yet, nor have I really pushed 4K/HDR content to it beyond just a quick look at the picture. I'm hard-wired so I've not experienced the issues others have reported with standby/quick start mode. Not a gamer so just using this TV to watch shows via Netflix/YouTubeTV/Hulu/etc. Overall, certainly a nice TV for the price.

Great tv for it price. It bright and colorful. Does kinda Bloom when white on a black background but it a great tv overall. Ahh, but software kind of slow so if you want to upgrade it, get a 4k amazon stick or something.

Great tv. For the price, i dont think it gets better than this. Quality is superb; blacks are deep allowing for great contrast. Its not quite oled level but its really great. For gaming its also pretty good, it supports all features on the series x.

I love this tv. Beautiful image, with very nice settings that can also be customized. I also LOVE that you can adjust the brightness. Only complaint is the sound quality is poor but get a soundbar and you should be set (I haven’t yet but saving up)

Great tv, I got it for $400 before it sold out. Amazing color, google tv OS is pretty smooth. Coming from an Apple TV user I’m very pleased with the UI. The 120hz refresh rate makes movies and tv look so smooth.

If you looking for something reliable, amazing premium quality... For far is the best option for gaming and watch content

Picture quality and ease of use is a plus especially in this price range. Only downside so far is when switching inputs occasionally the input will freeze and I have to restart to get picture back.

Best value for money deal. Have heard good reviews about TCL 6 series tv's, doesn't disappoint with picture quality. There were recent software updates which definitely improved the system stability. There used to be occasional lag between the menus which seems to have been fixed. HDR content can be slightly brighter but for normal HD and SD content this is perfect. Comparable models are atleast $250 higher (sony x90j), with that price bump its usually better to look into OLED's. I would also recommend to turn of all adaptive brightness features for consistent viewing experience.
