Great TV for the price! You will need a Google account to get it initially set up. I use this for basic tv watching, not gaming or for my theater room. Not that it couldn’t be used for either. I like the easy to use remote and setting’s menu and feature! This is a view tv straight on and from the sides/angles.

The picture looks very clear. Motion is smooth and the darker colors really stand out.

Bought it for PC gaming, the VRR works with my PC RTX 3070 g-sync no issue. Pixel response time is not bad as a VA panel, and 120hz gaming is quite a bit better than 60hz. And the input latency is pretty good too in game mode too. But if you play a lot of FPS, IPS 144hz+ monitor is a better choice. As a regular and gaming TV, this is amazing- Picture quality: SDR 8/10 HDR 8.5/10 Sound quality 7/10 This TV is so bright, 800-1000 nits on most contents and the black level is very good too. Color is vibrant but not over saturated. Blooming is minimal. The picture quality is just as good as my old Sony X900E if not a bit brighter. And at a cheaper price too, very good value. 4k 120hz VRR with bright enough HDR and supports 12bits color - Just get it!

This was the cheaper option for what I wanted. VRR and gaming mode was the primary reason for me wanting this model. Can honestly care less about all the smart tv options, I happily use an Apple TV. Playing Spider-Man Miles Morales with 60 fps on my PS5, worth it!! My only complaint is that the remote is IR and requires line of sight.. I have to point it very intentionally at the screen to power on/off or switch inputs. Not a deal breaker.

I was worried that I might regret not spending another 50% to get an OLED but for the most part I’m happy with this set. Contrast, uniformity, brightness, and black levels are all good. The only issue I have with picture quality is when watching dark scenes in a very dark room, I can see the backlight zones trying to keep up and not quite managing (I first noticed this on the main titles of The Lord of the Rings). Usability is a mixed bag. I generally like the Google TV interface (and had used it on a chromecast before buying so I knew what I was getting into), but in the first few weeks I had to reboot the TV every 3-4 days, switching inputs takes too many clicks, and the YouTube app crashes pretty regularly (other built-in apps seem to work fine). I also love that the TV has a headphone jack and supports Bluetooth audio output, and can automatically switch audio outputs each with their own separate volume memory.

So far so good . Still buggy with YouTube tv and some streaming apps. Good purchase . If you want a 4K 120hz gaming tv, definitely solid choice for the price . I had to turn down the brightness , super vivid .

We now have a few TCL series 6 TVs in the house. The pictures look fantastic and the price is way below a Sony or other big brand TV.

An excellent television. I'm a pretty demanding customer when it comes to televisions. I keep up with all the news about the world of TV. I'm up to date and enthusiastic about technology. I have two TVs of this model at home, I can safely say that this model delivers the same image and sound as the famous brands. I am completely satisfied with these acquisitions.

Great TV. Picture is better than expected. I also like the fact that this is one of 3 manufacture's in the world that actually build ever component in the TV so they have better quality control. I bough 4 TV to build a video wall. they also work great for this due to the flat sided bezels. The TV is also very thin at the top compared to the bottom so it is easier to affix streaming player's and surge protection / electrical plugs from wall behind it.

Bought this for my 15 year old sons as they had recently purchased an Xbox series X and I wanted them to have 2.1 ports etc. Set up was easy enough and I went online to optimize configurations for Xbox gaming. For the price I think it’s been a good value so far. Mainly used for gaming and watching YouTube etc. I can’t really comment on tv shows, sports or movies.

This television is absolutely amazing. Completely overperformed in every way. Everything looks like its happening in the room next to you, best 4k tv ever. Thanks TCL for elevating our viewing experience far beyond our expectations.

I purchased the 55" model on sale for $400 in 2023. Note that this is a 2021 model, but don't let that dissuade you. TLDR: This TV is the second best rated TCL TV that rtings.com has reviewed. The HDR experience, peak brightness, minimum dimness are incredible. It has everything I could want outside of being OLED. Great for movie watching and gaming alike. I can't comment on extended use but have heard of potential problems. I'm going to be purchasing the extended protection plan. 4K, VRR, 120Hz, Mini LED, a 1000 nit peak brightness, and a ton of local dimming zones for $400 is a steal. For full price it's still a great value. I actually have no motivation to go to a movie theater again now that I have this TV. It looks so much better than the average movie theater display. I'm rating audio quality 3/5 because I don't use the TV speakers. I can't speak on it.

Great picture. The black levels are amazing and it gets bright enough for the highlights to really pop. I haven’t had any of the software issues others have reported so hopefully tlc has straightened all of that out. The only gripe I have is there is a little bit of black crush.

Run...don't walk to purchase this AMAZING example of what a true HDTV should be. I have been a fan of "Samy" TV's for years and currently have 3 in my home now. So I was a bit hesitant to try another brand. So glad I pulled the trigger on this baby...especially at the tremendous discount from Best Buy. The picture is STUNNING! The brightness, the contrast, the clarity, the build quality, the high end finishes, etc. blow my other TV's ( which are still very satisfactory) out of the water! A perfect picture, wonderful sound and classy looks just cannot be beat for a mini led Qled with full array local dimming (in my opinion). And the new Google platform is smooth as silk. TCL has really brought it to the table with this model. And absolutely no dirty screen effect. I am in awe!! Samsung, Sony and LG better wake up and take notes. There is a new electronics leader in town that goes by the initials TCL. My new TCL will get plenty of TLC from this guy!
