Amazing TV!!!!

Picture quality is a must see. Excellent in both dark and bright rooms. The game mode and VRR capability is really the best I've seen in this range. Sound is amazing as well, no need for sound bar! Definitely a must buy.

An Excellent TV for a great value

Owned for more than 2 years when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.The 6-Series has been an outstanding value purchase for me, packing in a whole suite of useful features for gaming and media viewing (120hz at 4K, VRR, Dolby Vision and Atmos support, etc.) all the while at an affordable price point when I first purchased it in 2021. Highly recommend this product if you can still buy it online or if you are looking at a model revision.

Perfect tv, great picture and sound.

My boyfriend is deaf in his left ear but he can hear perfectly with this tv. The picture is crisp. I highly recommend it.

Great TV with glitchy software

Picture quality is very good for the price, but the software can be a little annoying. I've had the TV "crash" back to the home screen while playing PS5 a couple of time, and the Google TV software generally needs some optimization work. Overall though I've enjoyed my experience with the TV and would recommend it, especially if you typically use a plug-in streaming device like an Apple TV and wont be relying on the TV's software as much.

Good TV for the hardware, but GoogleTV hurts it

The Qled with mini led display is beautiful, hdmi 2.1 and eArc support is fantastic, and for this tv not being OLED, it achieves really nice blacks and minimal halo effects around bright objects in dark scenes. It also supports dolby vision, HDR10, and dolby atmos which is great for the price. When it comes to software though, specifically the OS Google TV, its really underwhelming and has many bugs and performance issues. I notice a lot of slow down and lag when opening menus or trying to switch inputs. Sometimes apps crash when waking the tv up from standby or they wont open from the home menu. By far the worst experience is when using my vizio soundbar. Occasionally when turning the TV on from standby while connected with eARC, it wont recognize the soundbar for whatever reason. It will still play audio from the soundbar, but i cant control the volume from the roku remote and it wont display the correct volume on the TV when changing volume. I then have to unplug the soundbar from the TV and plug it back in just to get those ARC features working correctly. Randomly the TV will start using the internal speakers alongside the soundbar and make this annoying echo since theres a slight delay between the soundbar and TV speakers, and it takes forever to get the TV speakers muted again. I wouldnt recommend buying this specific model of TCL tv until there have been some stability patches for GoogleTV. The roku models work so much better, even though the UI and feel of the OS is getting old.

Can’t ask for much more for what it is; my only complaint is for certain apps and programs it forces hdr that does not allow you to lower the brightness which can be a pain when watching late at night. This things bright!

The picture quality is very good, color profile is awesome especially with the HDR. Gaming on this tv with a ps5 has been a treat. The only downside to the tv in my opinion is the sound quality but that's easily remedied by a decent soundbar. overall very happy with my purchase and can totally recommend this tv for the price!

120 Frames Per Second

And gaming in 120 frames per second! The built in soundbar is pretty loud also! It feels good to finally part of the next generation would definitely recommend to any gamer. I normally buy Samsung tvs or Vizio but I'm glad I tryed the different brand thanks again TCL and best buy.

When watching (in a dark room) a dark scene with a lamp in the shot it really feels like there is an actual lamp on in my room.
