Great for the price

Mid-range price but punches way above its weigh!

All the positives of the TCL 55R646 have shown up clearly after we got it home and plugged in. That is pretty much the definition of "excellent". Adding the TCL soundbar that he recommended pushed this above "excellent".

Great budget gaming TV with some setup needed

The preset brightness is a bit low so you have to really go through picture settings to get the picture to the best version for gaming, but one done it is s great TV.

Great bright picture.

And not so easy to change settings. While looking at the picture. But it looks great out of the box. Hdmi 2.1 for the newest gaming consoles is a huge win for this tv at this price point.

I was hunting for a reliable TV for the master bedroom and this does the job well. Great picture, great look, and the Google TV brings all apps and TV shows/movies together into one home screen so it's easier when trying to resume different shows you were watching. Highly recommend.

Great PQ, Bad Software

The picture quality is great but the tv lacks in the software department dut to this TV being TCL's first Google TV i do believe. I have had trouble with casting my screen from my phone for instance on my Galaxy S20+. The tv closes out the cast after a few minutes almost every time. Also the battery cover for the remote will not stay on! I've had to use a piece of tape!! Due to the software issues and the remote not functioning 100 percent out of the box I gave this tv a 3 star rating. Again great picture quality, bad software, at this point anyways.

Very good TV and superb value for money.

The picture quality is so good especially in a bright room, the picture is really great. TV is really a superb value for the price and the sound quality is great. For a less than 500 USD TV it is a superb purchase. As good or better than the more famous Japanese or Korean brands.

Bought it for my girlfriend's house and its been great so far. She always has used roku, but she hasnt been using it as she seems to prefer the Google os (as do I). Grab one if you can before they are gone. The newer models dont seem to be as good specwise

Great TV for smaller space

Picture is crystal clear, sound is very good for on board speakers (adding a sound bar is plug and play simple) and set up is super easy. I also want to give a shout out to the Beat Buy delivery crew who were superb.

The color, on point. The brightness, blinding when need be and dark enough when the time calls for it. Recommending this always.

WOW!!

The image quality is AMAZING on this TV due to the mini led technology. You will be suprised you are not looking at a OLED tv. For the price this TV is hard to beat!

Its 4k, mini led, 120, and amazing local dimming. This is really the best tv you can get for his price. No need to spend 800+ on a 55” this is awsome

Fantastic TV for the price

It’s so bright I had to turn it down. It has minor bloom but it’s only visible on title sequences and it’s no big deal.
