This TV is incredible. I would strong recommend purchasing this. For the quality you're getting it's easily worth $1k. I will be honest and state that the OS is a bit buggy, but a quick reset every now and again is well worth the price tag. This TV upscales my Switch flawlessly. It does a great job with HDR on Netflix. If you don't believe me go watch the newest season of You or The Money Heist. It handles sports crisply and smooth like butter. I am overly impressed with sports as I am a huge critic when it comes to watching and seeing choppy movement. Hockey is one of the fastest sports to watch on a TV and this TV does a phenomenal job keeping up. 100% would recommend

This has great picture quality and brightness. Sound is decent but will be buying a soundbar to go with it. Not sure how this would compare with the next model down but the price was good enough for me.

TCL TVs in general are great values, and it's definately worth going to the 6 series if you can swing it The colors and particularly the depth of the picture is top notch Bonus was the sound when connected to stereo system jumped up dramatically from the former 4 series that was replaced

Great tv and specs. Haven’t had an issue. Gaming has no tearing and hits 120 fps

I originally got a Hisense u6h and after 3 tvs having earc issues I bought the TCL series 646 and it's an awesome TV with zero earc problems and an great picture...even without a soundbar it sounds very good.

This TV was good for the price. However, after one year, the internal display went out and no longer works. I have been very gentle to this TV and it has only been moved once. Definitely not going to last more than a few years, but if you need something that has decent specs for a cheap price, this one does the trick.

The picture is great for most movies and games. I do notice some blooming and the backlight flashing between the borders of the screen in some content though. The Google operating system isn't the best but I was able to get my TV to stop having so many problems with it. What I did was went to settings; apps; special app access; energy optimization, and turned off the energy optimization for all streaming services and some others. Haven't had a problem since!

I've been a fan of TCL since 2017 everything you have ever bought as impressed me. This one's no different. Having Toby Atmos for your TV helps when it comes to your ark. Highly recommend

The TV picture itself looks fantastic, the Google Operating System is total garbage. The settings don't save, they keep reverting back to defaults, the aspect ratio changes mid show to fill the screen vs keeping the correct aspect which results in a stretched screen, apps force quit all time (read middle of a viewing experience it just goes back to the home screen), and sometimes the TV just totally bugs out (as pictured). It's a beautiful TV & picture hamstrung by terrible software. I'll be returning this back to BestBuy and getting the R635 instead, plus, with the Roku OS, you can pause livetv, google doesn't seem to care about livetv as that feature is missing, and the channel guide barely works.

Good picture, but somewhat difficult to understand how to manuver around. Also have to use tv remote for sound, etc. and cable remote for cable tv. Unable to picture aspect.on streaming

The price to value proposition makes this an excellent purchase. It isnt a super premium set, but impossible to beat for the money. Android TV is the way to go and the buildt in speaker is more than good enough for a bedroom or smaller living room set up.

I bought the TCL 6 series as a bedroom TV. The picture is magnificent in a dark room (I bought it during Winter -- I haven't had the chance to watch this TV during daylight).

Easy to setup and connect. Decent pucture and strong sound. Was also not hard to get forestick running on this tv.

Awsome paired with xbox series x. Able to utilize the 120hz 4k. The downside, it doesn’t work well with Sony PS5. I can only get 60hz. The only game is able to activate the 120hz is Fortnite.

This is the best entry level gaming TV there is on the market today! I don’t make purchases flippantly but I recently purchased an Xbox One X which is known for its performance and quality. I was faced with a problem - if I kept my old TV then I would be unable to enjoy all the features of the new Xbox. I checked online for deals and I was on the hunt for two main things: 1. Affordable 2. Had to handle my Xbox and specifically the 120fps so I could game at max performance. I found both of those things in this TV. It was the only affordable option out there to run my Xbox at peak performance and I purchased it. I’ve enjoyed it ever since!

Solid tv. Fantastic quality. Iv had it for one year no issues

This is my second TCL The first was the 2020 5 series. That tv was good but this with its mini led back light is so mich better. The contrast is phenomenal. The color reproduction without calibration is great as well. I also like the slim remote with multiple buttons for apps. The rest is laid out somple and with minimal buttons to control everything. I especially like the volume control on the side of the remote. The best part for me is Google TV. I dont pay for regular cable and rely solely on streaming services and this doesn’t disappoint with the amount of available apps and is by far the fastest operating system ive ised in a tv to date.

The tv looks fantastic. Bright and colorful. It has support for the current generation of consoles. The build quality genuinely suprised me. This tv appears to be an excellent value. At least for me. Would recommend highly.

Got this after 55R635 blew its power board. Slightly better picture quality, with the ability to do more granular controls. However the implementation of Google TV is still kind of a hot mess. CEC controls are not really functional unless you like the tv telling an av receiver to continually cycle thru inputs every time you go to the settings menu. Annoying, but livable once you disable the CEC. Overall though it’s a good tv for the money and hopefully they get the software worked out in a future update.
