    It’s a great tv with great picture, backlighting, and colors. Everything runs well surprisingly! After hearing reviews about the bugs it had, it seems like it’s not longer the case because since day 1 I haven’t had any random shut offs or anything. I love this tv so far and hope it lasts.

    The picture on this TV looks great. The baked in Google TV is also very fast which was not the case on the last "budget" TCL I bought. I use this TV mainly as an outside TV and it does have the brightness necessary and it also has low reflectivity which is nice.

    There are some problems with the tv, such as audio not working until you completely un plug and replug in the tv, and every once in a while the tv just goes to home when watching a show. Other than that its a fine tv

    Great quality panel but the OS can be a bit slow and prone to glitches. Great for the price, especially when compared with the Samsung UHD and QLED models.

    Picture quality is great, deep blacks along side with good color accuracy. The Google tv platform still with some bugs, but for me apps like Netflix, Amazon video and Hulu as right now are working ok.

    For the price, this tv was a great addition to the Livingroom. It doesn't do 120Hrtz all that well unless the game is specifically made to run it. HIGHLY RECOMMENED

    TV had overall been really good. There have been some instances with the OS where the TV just completely shuts off or becomes unresponsive and I have to pull the power and hard reset it for it to work properly again.

    Great picture... when it works. The first problems are the TV's OS, its interface, and a cheap remote. I had the worst trouble getting the TV to detect the cable box signal. Conflicting commands transited between the TV and the external amplifier, causing the cable signal to be lost or to abruptly switch the input to another device. Navigating the TV's settings is clumsy and confusing. The worst came on day three after TCL uploaded a TV update. The picture went into low res mode and there was nothing the TCL technicians could do to fix the issue after spending HOURS on the phone. Three of the technicians I spoke with had no clue how to fix the issues at hand. A fourth one lost phone contact and never called back. The last one did the right things (which I'd tried earlier on my own, thank you very much); he eventually apologized and gave up. I rehooked up my older TV and it worked just perfectly straight away. I'm returning this new one to get my money back. I'm never buying another TCL product again. Note: I'm not in the habit of bad-mouthing a product or a brand, but this one really raised my hackles.
