I am thrilled with the overall picture quality, especially at this price point. Haven't had this long enough to comment on the over interface, but haven't run into any bugs or glitches. Love the 120hz for my Xbox Series X gaming.

Picture quality is great, deep blacks along side with good color accuracy. The Google tv platform still with some bugs, but for me apps like Netflix, Amazon video and Hulu as right now are working ok.

Great picture... when it works. The first problems are the TV's OS, its interface, and a cheap remote. I had the worst trouble getting the TV to detect the cable box signal. Conflicting commands transited between the TV and the external amplifier, causing the cable signal to be lost or to abruptly switch the input to another device. Navigating the TV's settings is clumsy and confusing. The worst came on day three after TCL uploaded a TV update. The picture went into low res mode and there was nothing the TCL technicians could do to fix the issue after spending HOURS on the phone. Three of the technicians I spoke with had no clue how to fix the issues at hand. A fourth one lost phone contact and never called back. The last one did the right things (which I'd tried earlier on my own, thank you very much); he eventually apologized and gave up. I rehooked up my older TV and it worked just perfectly straight away. I'm returning this new one to get my money back. I'm never buying another TCL product again. Note: I'm not in the habit of bad-mouthing a product or a brand, but this one really raised my hackles.

the best tv i ever had very vibrant colors sharp image i good pair for my xbox series x and with Dolby Vision and Dolby atmos it changes the way of gaming and for moives the tv is almost perfect there are a few glitches with vrr and Dolby Vision but there small and won't ruin the tv

I bought this TV and was pretty nervous but i was wrong! I got this for the XBox Series X and it checks every box on the series x list in its settings. Super dark blacks. The tv speakers are far better than anyother tv in my house. You will not be disappointed in this purchase.

I've previously been an LG TV person, but started to look at the 6 series of the TCL. The combination of features to price was spot on. The nearest LG, with similar features was twice the price. There is a little tweaking to the picture to get it just right, but to me this was minimal, well worth the cost. I elected to get the Google TV version, with 120hz panel, and have been very pleased with the performance, I got the 55" model, and would purchase again, when I need a new bedroom tv, or spare room TV. The only con to the tv is the interface can be wonky at times, but a simple restart and it's back to good. I do have an Apple TV 4K, Nintendo switch, 4k UHD Blu-ray, and Onkyo receiver all connected through a Hue Sync Box. It is full on immersive when watching movies/playing games.

TV image is wonderful. But the TV has issues with the HDMI inputs. It will not accept signals from a brand new AV receiver. It will only output audio via the ARC port to the AV receiver. So I plug the devices directly into the TV and the TV flickers on and off showing the incoming signal to saying no signal. I have reset, unplugged, changed cables, changed all the settings I can find and nothing works. Makes the TV useless except for the Google TV part. I wish I had paid more for a better brand.

Got this for my 10-year-old Granddaughter as a Christmas present. She absolutely loves it and all of the extra features that comes with it... According to the Granddaughter, Grandpa scored 10,000 bonus points with this gift...

Its a good TV, but i like Roku better. I originally order the Roku Version but it arrived broken and they didnt have any replacements so i got the google version instead with the same specs. Then just bought a Roku Ultra for it.

Beatiful picture the clarity and how the colors pop i also like how dark the blacks get and how you can adjust the colors so theres no black crush etc.Definiteltb play with the colors till u get to the picture u want. The google system not for me i just use my firestick.

Theres a reason this TV has 3 stars average. The picture is amazing, just like everyone says. I have experienced less bugs than others, but the biggest one is it causes my other PC monitors to flicker on and off when you shut off the tv. this is probably due to the tv being in sleep mode (not completely off), and the hdmi keeps sending connecting and disconnecting signal to the video card. only way to stop this is to change the source input to something other than the PC hdmi before you turn off the TV. also I was away for 2 days, came back and TV would not turn on. had to unplug and plug back in. remote is nice except for the ugly white buttons, kills the whole look. this is not acceptable on a TV in this price range. change the white buttons to black or dark gray and the remote will be sleek and nice, very easy small changes for TCL to make. finally, and i didn't see anyone mention this, but there is a polished silver color metal border on the sides of the TV. i personally find it ugly and reflective and i wish they had a floor sample of this tv before i bought it. lesson learned, always see the tv you are about to buy, dont trust just the reviews. build quality is good and it feels really heavy, almost too heavy. i have a $300 tcl from 2017 that had none of these issues, because its a Roku tv and not this garbage google tv software. im giving up my google nest mini's as well, because they are not a good experience. google seems to be losing the smart home race, I watched so many videos saying google is not as good as alexa, and I did not want to believe it. but i believe it now.

TCL does it again the 6 series- continues to bring good quality budget king material. This was a steal breaker yes, it has issues with Google TV for the first go around but that only serves up for the 6 series Google TV better this year.

People are blaming their lack of knowledge and Google on TCL. Google TV is an OS that will receive updates to improve stability. I did have some quirky problems initially but they seem to have stopped. The TV itself is well built and it has amazing picture quality at the price point. I hooked my PC up and played at 4k 120hz and experienced no tearing. Response times were fast as expected. I bought a Hisense that died in a year and the build quality was leagues below the TCL. As per previous reviews, GREAT picture, but operating system is flawed! Even after the software update. I wished more than once that the t.v. would have come with more information on the set-up and pairing information, for example, pairing of the headphones..

Love the tv. The size is perfect for my room, got this on a deal so the price was crazy good.

This is a great tv for the price. It’s bright, colors look good, 120hz, blacks are very good for an lcd. The mini led local dimming works really well. I think it’s a 20 x 12 grid on the 55”? In a bright room it looks good, in a dark room it looks amazing. Some older reviews mention software issues, but I haven’t had any. It’s updated the software a few times. Good for TCL for actually supporting their product after it’s sold. I only have one problem with the R646, that you can’t turn Dolby Vision off. Dolby Vision uses data from the video and from the tv to set various picture settings. It works well most of the time, but not all of the time, and the R646 does not let you override those settings. When watching a movie I really care about I use an external streaming box, simply because it can turn Dolby Vision off.

LOVE this TV. The software can be buggy, but who cares when you are getting Samsung quality image for more than half of their cost for a Q90A. This thing is a beast. 100% best TV for the price.

I’m really enjoying this tv. The only reason it is not a 5 star is because it flickers on loading screens of certain games. Overall great though
