Initially, it gave me a couple of issues related to downloading apps and streaming them. However, I reset my internet connection and reset the google tv account and everything worked so efficiently. The picture quality is superb and sound is awesome as well. If you love watching sports, this is a great buy for the price.

Much Better Now

I still have to shut it down completely (reboot it) when it has a glitch or the eArc sound is out of sync, but these occurrences are fewer now. The picture is very good and it seems I received a good panel.

Amazing picture held back

The TCL has needed hard resets during the use of streaming sites. It becomes unusable and unresponsive black screens while using multiple apps. I really like the picture but if the updates don't help, I may end up returning the t.v.

Like looking through a window

Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Great tv so far, it’s like looking out a window my wife said, I upgraded from an older 55” Samsung 1080 with three small black lines, it was time… I have not messed with any settings or anything yet but the contrast is really great, blacks are deep and rich against all colors. I have noticed some blurring around a person moving fast in a movie, not sure if it was the tv or the streaming causing the effect but I only noticed it twice while watching The last duel.

Great TV, TERRIBLE OS, poor product updates

That being said, its had near constant OS issues, from freeze ups (which was patched). Now it will crash, then restart. Also, the audio will not come through frequently on devices that I'm using on it, but once I restart the issue goes away. I kept the TV too long after being told that there was a patch on the way that would fix the issues. But now and it seems that return isn't an option, and every time there is an update, a new problem presents it self.
