A tech nerds dream

The average consumer looking to just plug it in and watch TV will not have a great experience, the color presets are not that great so you have to do some manual tweaking

Not a good tv

I bought this tv base on that review and i regret to do so. I am still in the return period so i am still checking on it. The positive of this tv is it has 2 hdmi 2.1 and i can play my PS5 game ok so far and the 120hz refresh screen works nicely. Watching movie with 4k blueray and 4k youtube color seems to be nice so far. The sound is ok but can be improved. Now, the negative. The google system is so slow ans sluggish. If i turned on the fast start then the wifi disconnected so frequently, so i turned the fast start off acording to the tcl forum. However, without the fast start, the tv take about 30 -45s to completely turn on to the ready scren. The ready screen is so buzy and uggly with too many things. I chose youtube to test and after picking a show to watch the screen takes long to load up the content. I connected the Roku streambar to improve the horrible sound from tv, but try to switch back n forth between 2 to test, i found out that the tv sound acting weird and the tv original sound disappeared and i had to manually reset the sound to get it back. These are few things i have tried so far n feel very disappointed. Besides, Best Buy took this tcl tv line off the site and shelves because of many problems with this tv. I wonder if TCL is going to support this tv or fix the operating system.

Great TV (if you can find one)

The light sensor works great most of the time for auto dimming or brightening the screen, although with certain games it will dim slightly too much (but can easily be manually brightened with the remote). Sound is surprisingly good for what it is, but don't expect too much; it's still a flat screen.

What A Bargain!

PS5 looks incredible on this tv. It has so many features that I haven’t had time to really go through & enjoy them all.

A Great TV if it functions like it should

After setting it up (which seemed to take longer than I felt it should), I loved the picture. The visual component of this TV is top notch for the price. HOWEVER, from a functional standpoint, this TV was subpar. Navigation was slow to respond, apps would open randomly without any buttons pressed or via Google Assistant, and the HDMI ports would disconnect and reconnect when the device was in use. This was incredibly frustrating when playing video games. I ended up returning it for a Sony X85J and am pleased with the results of that TV so far comparatively.

Superior TV

The colors and clarity of the picture is outstanding. Setup was very easy connected to my TMoblie-WIFI 6 with no issues, Have my Dennon Dolby receiver connected via ARC works flawlessly. We stream with HULU and like the Google interface very fast and intuitive.

I'm also a gamer who needs a TV that can stand up to that as my PC and my PS4 are hooked up to it. This TV fit the bill. It also has great speakers for being so thing - we unhooked the soundbar and were really surprised!

Overall its a very good tv for the price. I had a Sony X900 which cost $500 more for same size before and this does just as good with picture quality.
