    If you love hitting the power button on the remote of your $750 tv, only to have the tv screen remain off, leading to a frustrating 2-5 minutes of troubleshooting sometimes including unplugging, then this is the tv for you. If you love switching inputs only to find that you have to restart whatever HDMI device is plugged in before a signal is detected. This is it, chief. If you want two separate places to change the same settings that seem to do nothing about the erratic behavior of the brightness and picture settings. Buy this thing right now. Most importantly if you want terrible support and customer service from a manufacturer, my friend, there is no choice. Buy this TCL today and you too could live in regret and frustration as the OS stability continually declines and the return window slowly closes while you tell yourself, “the picture is good, certainly the OS will improve with updates” I’m all seriousness, drop the extra loot on something worth having. Even if TCL made functioning electronics, the garbage support should be more than enough to change your mind.

    Pros: Absolutely beautiful picture quality with amazing blacks - so stars in space looked fantastic. truly a beautiful and bright picture but... Cons: Had to return it. Buggy, crashed, turned itself off all the time, ran slow, had to be hard reset couple times every day, just a ton of issues. exchanged for a Sony x90j which does not have as good of backlighting but it has better motion. too bad, the tcl had a better image... but worse motion, and like I said, crashed all the time. Sony uses the same google interface and it has no issues. I did not want to return it.

    Google TV IS Garbage you can basically get it to turn on and off with google voice command we have over the air tv and when you tell it to change to channel 8.1 it turns it to YouTube the roku tv works better with google than this google tv and Best Buy does not give you much time to try their tv before you can bring it back if it wasnt tcl,s top of the line tv I would throw a hammer through it and take it back I like the the tcl tv’s they are a great tv for the price just stay away from the google tv

    Software has serious issue. When I turn on peacock app it turns off after some time automatically. If you are watching YouTube and click on setings button tv turns off. After that i have to unplug and then only it startup. I Will test this one more week and if issue Persists then returning this tv.

    Good value for for the price. I do wish it had a better remote, it requires many button presses to navigate to imputs, sleep timer, etc.

    Issues with the apps have been frustrating, unresponsive menus and voice command issues may be connection issues. Wouldn't recommend this over the Hisense but it does have excellent picture.

    Can you give zero stars? TV lasted almost a month with light usage. It now doesn't even power on. So a 55 inch paperweight is what it is. TCL logo pops up for about 3 seconds and then black screen. Doesn't matter how many "recommended" steps are given the result is the same. Much better off going with a low end Samsung or Sony than this brand. Good luck

    Display is okay, have had trouble with one of the HDMI ports but I don't have external audio so I just don't use the eARC port. OS is also not very great.

    Whenever I go into setting or change input, the voice goes out, not all sound, just the voice. But if I go back into setting or input a 2nd time it fixes the issue. Very annoying, just like no input button on remote. Only had tv a few months and have had to unplug for 60 seconds several times to get signal back. Picture is good but no indication when it's in Atmos unless I'm using Roku box. Wish I would have saved up a little more $ and bought an LG.
