Owned for 1 month when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Tv seemed fine then started cutting out on day 28, the tv would completely black out when watching apps through Xbox series X and the Xbox was fine I returned within the 30 day return policy and got the Hisense U8G if this tv hadn’t blacked out it would’ve been a great tv maybe I got a bad one? The colors, gaming everything was great until the cut outs

Google TV Ruins It…

Although it has an absolutely phenomenal picture, the Google TV OS completely tarnished the experience. Here are a few of the issues I encountered with the OS: - No sound upon boot up, would require a complete restart to get it back. - Constantly disconnects from my Xbox while I’m playing games to the point where it is unusable. The screen just keeps cutting to black like it is changing inputs over and over again. - Frequent crashes and app hang ups. Have had to unplug the set a couple of times due to the unit becoming unresponsive. - Game mode will sometimes get stuck on and would require a restart to switch out of it. There’s other issues but you get the idea. This is unfortunate because when it works this television is unmatched for the picture quality you get for the price. I will be returning this and continue my search with other brands. What a shame…

Fantastic

The contrast is great, deepest blacks I’ve had in a TV, and works well with my PS5. Couldn’t be happier with this purchase, especially with the most recent TCL software update

Its updated to the latest software, but im cinwtantly seeing wifi disconnect, the software just completely freezing. The screen flipping out and doing double. In constwntly having to pulp the power to reset it. Anuthing TCL thinis they did to fix the issues did not work

Os bleh TV perfect

I just set it up as a basic TV and use a rokue device.

Screen Broke after 13 Months

Minimal pressure was applied in the corner of the tv and the whole screen was ruined. This happened after 13 months of use which was 1 month outside the warranty. Be extremely careful when moving/handling it as it is not of solid construction.

Great tv

The tv is amazing. I haven't had a problem with the Google tv part but for the quality at this price just buy a 50 dollar chrome tv, it's worth it. Especially if you find it on sale.

Superb value

You'd have to spend well more than double to get something with a better display from Sony or similar, and I don't think it's worth it. The Google Home interface is easy and trouble free too.

Great Image, poor quality

Frequently looses wifi connection. Randomly quits applications mid show. Gets stuck with a circle loading and I have to reboot it. When the wifi stops working I have to unplug the TV for a minute and plug it back in before it starts working. Would not buy again.

Glitchy

It sometimes switched on my Soundbar, sometimes it doesn't. This was not the issue with my previous TV. The settings do not stay the same after a restart. There is something terribly wrong with the Wi-Fi in the unit because it keeps disconnecting from the internet.

TCL working well

Don't Listen to the "Experts"

If you don't need the latest and greatest, you'll appreciate this one. Picture is much brighter than most OLEDs. Just get one and enjoy it.

Not worth it, unless…

The OS absolutely sucks, it’s too bad they don’t make tight Roku. The only scenario I’d recommend buying this is if it’s on a significant sale, or you’re on a very tight budget, otherwise save yourself some annoyances and buy LG/Samsung/Sony.
