    I got this version because it had the one HDMI with the 120hz out (I don't have a PS5 yet) but I wanted the higher frame rate once I do get a newer gaming system. The screen is so sharp!

    I wanted to like this tv since it has hdmi 2.1 and I have a PS5 and Xbox…but we had to return the tv due to the apps are extremely glitches Netflix does not work, YouTube barely works so we thought that we had a bad one…returned it and bought it again and now the new one we have to return also! On a bright note playing the PS5 with the 120hz was great that’s why I wanted to love it but it just has too many issues as of now.

    Out of the box the HDMI ARC port didnt work. The TV was slow and everytime i would switch apps or shows the tv would flash the input screen as if it changed inputs. Ended up returning it.

    My comment is only for delivery. I can't say how well it actually operates. Mine arrived defective, with a huge crack on the screen at the top. Returning it tomorrow, but I'll like exchange it for another of the same item.

    Unstable Google OS crashes on settings button

    I liked the TV but I struggled to get it to make it look as good or better than the 635 in many difficult video scenes. I like the Google OS interface when it works but clicking on Settings button only works one time after a fresh crash and reload of the app, but after a minute or so, clicking the Settings button consistently crashes the app and it goes to home screen. With constant tweaking needed, it is a dealbreaker for me and it will likely go back if TCL doesn't release a fix by the Jan 16 return date. TCL already claimed victory after their last firmware release that it "fixed" the stability issues but in reality that is not true. Motion on this TV is also just as bad on the TCL 635, if not worse. Disappointing that they couldn't improve it in all these years. Weird artifacts show up on fast moving scenes and sometimes even in slow moving scenes with patterns like a grill or a wooden screen etc.

    Best Buy came and tried to program this tv but during the install it came up as a VU tv every time they entered TCL. I ended up getting another Samsung. I believe I will be staying away from any and all brand names that I am not familiar with.

    Great device, terrible integration with Google TV

    This was not my first TCL TV, and I've always been satisfied -- until now. There is nothing wrong with the hardware -- it's excellent. But TCL's integration with Google TV is TERRIBLE. Even now, months after release, it's still very buggy (and this is TCL, not google TV -- I've used google tv on other devices without these issues). To add insult to injury, it's very difficult to file a problem with TCL, and when you do, you have to tell them the serial number, date of purchase, and what vendor you purchased it from. Regardless of the problem being reported, the suggested response is always the same: a very detailed step-by-step instruction on how to first reset the TV, then power cycle it.

    It will not connect to Samsung soundbar and sub woofer. I had to buy a universal remote to get the then synced and it's still not working correctly The picture quality is great. It also had issues with my 4k roku streaming device
