Great tv!

Good TV Bad OS

The wifi automatically disconnects and doesn’t reconnect until the Tv is restarted. Also I am not able to connect any of my bluetooth devices with the tv and the alexa connectivity doesn’t work

Bandwidth issues

Beware if you're buying this for chromecast

Even after the recent software updates, it does not function the way it should. After giving up on the built-in chromecast, I bought an external chromecast - and was finally able to add the TV to a Google home speaker group. But still no luck with casting - to do that, I have to find the TV remote, turn the TV on, then cast. That's not how it's supposed to work - you're supposed to be able to turn the TV on remotly. Good luck getting support from TCL or Best Buy - I've spent 5 hours and it's a war of attrition - and I'm no closer to knowing what to do than I was before I started.

To be able to cast to the TV while is it powered off, you would need to make sure that the "Network Standby" setting is enabled. To enable this setting, you would need to go to Home>Settings>Network & Settings>Network Standby>Enable. It is also recommended to make sure that you have the most recent software update available. Not ready for prime time

The picture is fantastic but the interface is buggy beyond belief. Drops program and goes to home screen. Drops all live TV and has to have a re-scan. Volume goes up and down all by itself. Defaults to the Fire stick on HDMI 2 for no reason. On and on-oh did I mention it will turn off all by itself to. The Google TV's by TCL are just not consumer ready stay away and stick with their ROKU models.
