Buyer BEWARE!

If you want a TV with a great picture and an unstable non responsive platform with poor support this is the TV for you.

Don’t Buy This TV - Unless You Like Being Frustra!

There are times when the TV won’t even turn on. I bought my mom the TCL 5 series with Roku and it’s much better. Google employs 150,000 people now and by the performance of this TV none are software engineers. They must all be in ad sales.

Great tv for gaming.

Mainly wanted for sim racing monitor and I can say that not only was the tv in perfect condition but it looks absolutely phenomenal as a computer monitor and in-game. I know the common theme out there is that a tv isn’t up to snuff for gaming but this one looks/plays fantastically. Great tv.

I’m returning it today because screw having scratches and scuffs on a brand new tv I’m not going to deal with 7 scuffs and 3 scratches and 5 dead pixels that’s unacceptable for a tv that I almost paid a grand for. Google TV is terrible for this TCL product

I've run into multiple issues And no one (TCL, Google, Best Buy) seems to be able to resolve them. Some apps like ESPN work for 30 minutes, then I get an error message and they have to be reset. Other apps don't have volume (like TBS - I have to watch the baseball playoffs in my computer). Other apps just go black randomly and I have to hard reset the TV to make it work again. I'm past the return window for the TV so no one seems to care about my issues. Save yourself the headache.

Great picture. Terrible OS. I Don't Recommend

The Android TV OS 11 is still not good, even after the December 2021 update. I looked into it and problems are well documented on the reddit tcl page, as well as reported on in 9to5google.com. -- My TV randomly crashes when using apps and then restart itself. Sometimes it won't power up at all and I have to unplug it/plug it back in to start up. The digital channel guide is super slow to populate, if at all. It's too bad too because I have a TCL series 5 Roku tv and its great. Never a problem with it. -- I will be returning this Series 6. I really want to like it, but it won't let me.

Buggy piece of garbage. Avoid at all costs.

It started out okay, but has been getting progressively worse over the very short time I have owned it. It has to have the power plug pulled out in order to function. Sometimes it is because the backlight does not turn on. Others it is the sound will not work. Others it js the main menu going into a loop where it does jot fully load. Hot. Garbage.

Purchased at $50 discount ($649) at Labor Day Sale. Literally, just past the (15 days deadline) you lower the price another $50 $599. Won't be purchasing anything anytime soon.

Not worth it

Google OS with dolby vision is broken, you can’t manually control the backlight and my polk sound bar didn’t work at all! To bad since I go a really clean panel. Also the Vesa mount on the back dosent fit all universal tv mounts because of the weird plastic shape on the back. First and last time trying TCL. Their customer support is also very slow
