    Since TCL is a company I am not familiar with And the devices are cheap, obviously they don’t stand a chance against the higher quality brands right? WRONG. THIS TV IS WONDERFUL! I purchased a Samsung qn85a for $1100 and after being DOA I purchased the Samsung qn90 for $1299 to my surprise it had screen defects and software glitches and also the picture quality was horrid. I wanted the neoqled because of the black levels but the lag, grainy and very smeared looking “HD” and obvious pixel damage and screen lighting issues I felt as if I just got taken advantage of for that much money. When I say I got home and was blown away by the picture on this TCL unit, there are so many options to tweak the screen that It’s not only on par with the neoqled from Samsung, it’s better once adjusted. The blacks are deep, the colors are vibrant, and I got $645 back in my pocket. Save your money, try this unit. I keep reading reviews about the Google system being glitchy but my unit does not have the issue. However, most of us are using external devices anyway so the picture quality is what is important with content. Buy a Roku if Google tv isn’t for you or buy a Roku series 6 if you have the option (I didn’t have the option in my store for Roku or the Google version)

    I purchased this tv specifically due to the higher 120hz refresh rate and the mini qcel tecnology. TV is good howener not as goid as my previouse vizeo with a 120 refresh rate. Ordering onlinevwasca joke. I had an option to get it delivered on the upcoming saturday or pick it up myself next day. I chose pickup. Next day i was planning pickup and realized i did not getva mssg it was ready. I called and they said it wont becready fir pickup until saturday. I felt like i was scammed. Typical Best Buy BS. Then i reveive a different notice on Friday saying come pick up tv. I do curbside in Trumbull CT. Waited 30 minutes in my parking space, finally walked in the store. I could onky see one other customer in the store and four employees just standing in a group yucking it up. I was the only order pending pickup and they just didnt care. No apology. No remorse dor making me wait. They could care less l. I am done with Best Buy. I made two purchases from this store this year and both were not smooth at all. Shopping at Best Buy is just not worth the aggravation. I will pay a little more elsewhere to have a seamless experience.

    The picture quality is impressive, especially for HDR content. Mini-LED provides great contrast and brightness, and colors look vibrant without being overdone. Google TV is responsive and easy to navigate. For the price, this TV punches well above its weight.

    My tv didnt bring the two leg stands & it also didn’t bring the power cable. Didnt even get to use the tv, luckly best buy gave me a $200 discount & i ended up getting the sony x85j series 55”.

The accessories should be located in the upper foam packaging in the TV box. Given the opportunity, we could have looked into this for you and tried to help.     Tcl 55 and best buy service sucks

    The quality if the tcl 55inch 6 series sucks. It stalls, turns off automatically, and ultimately stops completely and never turns on again

    Bought TCL class 6 mini-led qled tv recently, this tv has the best colour and clarity that I have ever seen, I love it very easy to set up, I you are thinking of buying one do it you will not regret it.

    Solid TV for the price

    I was looking for a QLED TV that wasn't going to cost $1k and up..And after doing some research, I came across this TV listed for under $800..Needed a 2nd TV coming from a 55" Samsung 7 series..Just really wanted to go with an affordable QLED TV at 55"...again..I did research on rings.com, and paired this TV against some of the other QLED TVs in that $800 price range, or slightly higher..Brands like Hisense, Sony, even Samsung..And the TCL 55r646 actually held its own, and in some cases, rated slightly better, according to rtings.com. I had read that the Google format came with bugs with apps crashing and other issues, and that Best Buy had actually taken the TV off of shelves as a result..Then a software update became available, and cleared up a lot of issues..and note, the software update comes right out of the box whenever you decide to set up the Google portion of the TV... I've had the TV for only a week..and I will say,I did have 1 issue on day 2, and that was a loss of sound. And it raised a major concern, and was ready to return the TV.. So I simply unplugged and plugged the TV back in..The sound returned, and I can say I haven't had an issue since, and I've been very pleased.. The Good A very beautiful picture, the colors pop, and the brightness is amazing..it all depends how you calibrate your TV ..But I would put the picture up against other QLED TV's in a higher price range..I'm not saying it's better, but the picture is definitely in the neighborhood of higher price QLED TV's..It's a $749 TV, and it does what it's supposed to in this price range which it difficult to find 55" QLED TV's in this price range with a 120hz refresh rate. Gaming as well looks great on this TV, I'm very pleased .. It has 2 2.1 HDMI inputs.. The Google Smart TV format is solid, and the voice to command feature works well.. The bad Not really a fan of the remote that comes with the TV ..though you can download an app for the remote on your smart phone..But it takes awhile to get used to using it.. The sound..which isn't bad..I think it's above average, but if you're a real audiohead, you may want to enhance it with a sound bar..but it's not horrible..but the sound is actually loud..I haven't had the sound past 30 which would be too much..but keep in mind, loud doesn't necessarily mean it's a good thing... Overall, for a $749 QLED TV, I think it's definitely solid for what you pay for..It's not going to outperform QLED TV's $1200 or higher...but again, if you're looking to upgrade from UHD or LED to QLED, I don't think this is a bad route to go, if you don't want to go outrageously higher in price..And this TV has a nice build quality..So far it seems the buggy issue has been resolved as I've read about before purchasing (at least for me) and there will be more updates forthcoming.. Again, I encourage you to go to rtings.com for a more indepth review, and compare it side by side with other QLED TV's in this price range or slightly above, and see for yourself..

    I really rate this TV at 4 1/2 it's not as easy as the Roku to figure out an operate but once you figure out that picture man that thing really pops I have a Samsung qn 85d and my personal opinion I put them together I'd like the TCL 6 series better it's more clarity better contrast so overall if you can still find this TV I definitely recommend it especially for that price but if the Roku one plays as just as good the r655 I would go with that one too I bought mine January 16th of 2022

    Great tv picture is great google works great. It does what I ask perfectly turning on and off the tv opens apps switching HDMI’s. I have an Apple TV also which I use less now

    Awesome picture , half decent sound from the internal tv speakers, though you will still need another sound system for anything other than casual tv viewing. Hdr 10 and Dolby Vision look great, and there is a ton of other visual settings to explore. It is naturally very bright, but while the local dimming performance helps with black, it may be too bright for bedroom viewing. Next gen consoles look great on the tv and perform extremely well with some calibration. Overall great value for next gen gaming and Hdr movies.
