Great picture and sound experience. A real bargain for the money. You won't be disappointed with your purchase. I highly recommend this TLC product. Numerous sound and picture settings with easy navigation throughout the menu. Movies and television shows seem like live performances even using a Wi-fi connection. The Smart Google TV comes with preinstalled apps both free and pay. I even downloaded more free apps for greater selections of movies and TV shows.

Fantastic TV at this price. Bright and clear picture, and decently low input lag for games when set to game mode. Only issue I noticed was when I turned off the motion smoothing for an older show for nostalgic reasons and got a lot of judder. I can live with the motion smoothing, but test it out if it’s something you don’t like.

Best TV for Gaming with PS5 4k 120 HZ for the price. To get the same results with major name brands like Sony, Samsung, And LG you have to spend $500 dollars more. So if you want an awesome TV for Gaming with PS5 and for sports/movie watching, this TV will not disappoint. MY FAVORITE TV OF ALL TIME.

If you are going from just a HD tv, this will blow it out of the water so much it will be hard to go back. Google TV is a great OS and there’s a lot to love about it, super easy to get accustomed too and a lot of app support. 4K works great as well, Disney+ and Max alone should sell you on how good this tv can get.

This is a great TV for the price. Color is great. The hardware looks high quality. My only complaint is there is apparently no way to turn off the motion smoothing effect. We kind of got use to it after awhile but it still bugs me at times.

The bad the google os does seem glitchy and im having some odd issues with im not even sure what to call it watching youtube sometimes another image flashs up or partial image very fast but concerning and takes away from what your watching ----also pushing the settings button takes me to the home screen more often than pulling up the settings menu and it gets really irritating when your trying to adjust the picture and it keeps taking you to the home screen instead of pulling up the settings menu--this tv seems to need a restart every few hours or it has some sort of issue--this is making me wonder if i made the wrong choice and im not sure if i will want to keep it or not at the moment and its a shame because it actually looks amazing and even sounds good for a tv but when you cant even adjust a setting or change the input without it going to the home screen ... really needs some updates for the os its really hard to fathom most people are having pretty similar issues so its clearly a problem wide spread issue i want to say the picture looks amazing and the blacks are great theres a ton of different settings and options and does really well at 4k 120 for gaming i can see things that i did not know were there or just washed out on my old 4k 60hz tv also extremely bright amazing with UHD movies.

Image quality is stellar for this price range. I'm a gamer and run an Xbox Series X. When the TV automatically switches over for high quality gaming images, it's amazing. It's a lightweight TV for the size and physical setup is as fast and easy as setting up the user profile and apps.

I specifically bough this TV for the AMAZING picture! It such a great value for the how good the picture is and would highly recommend this TV. Also, the Dolby Vision is so good and crisp! Now, the speakers aren't that great but you can buy an inexpensive sound bard for better audio.

The Picture is very nice but the google platform is full of glitches. It buffers and sometimes during streaming it will stop mid-show and return to the home screen. When you try to resume the program it starts from the beginning! We don't have this problem with our Roku Tv's. Also the TV Remote needs to be reconfigured. Very difficult Fwd & Rwd. Sometimes you have to hold the button down, sometimes you dont.

Having owned this several months now I remain impressed with the picture quality and fluidity of this television. From the standpoint of picture quality deep blacks to vibrant bright colors all come through well and generally with much less bloom than other sets in the same price range. From a critical standpoint while I actually rather enjoy Android tv's interface and ability to sideload applications I feel it could be more consistent in it's operation especially with regard to voice command and enabling 120hz for certain things (reportedly) being a function of turning on motion features as opposed to having an option to just do that is a questionable choice. That said for as long as this continues to impress me and my guests I've trouble not giving it 5 stars.

After a ton of research, I got it home today and hooked it up to my Xbox series X. What a huge difference from my 10 year old Samsung. I'm so glad I was able to grab this on sale. It's an amazing TV! Everything pops and looks way better thanks to the HDR. The down side is the Google TV OS implementation. I have to agree with pretty much everyone else who's complaining about it. The os is pretty badly buggered up. It feels nice and fast and appears to work at first glance, but once you really try to go back and forth between things, it gets really bad. Perfect example, I can't get YouTube or YouTube tv to work properly. Seriously? YouTube on a Google os doesn't work. I made sure I updated the TV firmware and YouTube app, but no difference. If I first open the YouTube app after a reboot, it works. But if I pause a video and switch to my Xbox input, then go back to the YouTube app try to play the same video again, all hell breaks loose. The video is blank, but the audio is still going, if I try to rewind a bit to help fix it, then it stops working completely. The spinning circle comes up forever. Then if I try to force stop the app and open it again, it makes no difference. If I try to play that same video again, it spins in a circle. If I then try to reboot the TV, it will turn off and stay off. I have to unplug the TV and plug it back in to bring it back to life. Really, not a good thing to have to do with a brand new TV. Like I said, I did my homework and knew that this could be an issue. It's not a deal breaker for me, I'll just continue using my Xbox for streaming as I did before. If TCL can one day fix this really bugged software, it would be a bonus to me. Thank you for the great TV. It would easily be 5 stars if the OS was working smoothly though. Please fix that.

I have been running this TV in my living room since November 2022 and have been delighted with its performance. It is bright enough to handle my very bright room and my Xbox Series X looks incredible through this.

Have had it for about a month so far, great tv for the room! Would recommend speakers for it, tv audio isn’t the best, but for the picture it’s a great deal for the price.

I purchased 55R646 from Best Buy and received delivery Saturday, Jan 29. After initial setup, software update, disable most “auto” picture settings (eco power savings, screen savers and such), first issue happened Sunday (less than 24 hours after receiving the TV) when the TV turned itself OFF. (Many conversations with TCL afterward confirm there is NO reason the TV should turn itself off, including HDMI CEC, which per TCL, a connected CEC device can cause the TV to turn ON but never to power OFF. Two or three times in 5 days, picture mode became stuck in VIVID (which I never use). I cannot replicate at will, but each time was after I watched HDR content (from a Fire Stick or TCL internal apps like HBOMAX) and then switched to a different HDMI input to watch DirecTV. Each time, after a TV power cycle, the TV would allow me to change picture mode again. TCL customer support seems to guess at issues, suggesting Factory Reset (less than 24 hours after installing a new TV and updating to the latest software) and asking me to record VIDEO of the issues, even AFTER I explained the issues are intermittent. I am returning the TV to Best Buy during their very short 25 day window for a refund. I do not feel inclined to troubleshoot TCL’s problems for them. As a major online reviewer of TVs told me this morning, “…It is a shame TCL’s Google software is so buggy preventing me from giving it a strong recommendation….”

Purchased on sale for $400. Ridiculously good for the price. Crisp 4k. Onboard TV sound is decent considering.

Excellent picture quality and great sound. I love that I can use my voice to do things without the remote. Really cool.
