Not the best at low quality upscaling.

When streaming a 4k movie it looks great. HD channels over an antenna not so much. Returned for a cheaper Samsung which does the same but upscales better. Mediocre sound, need sound bar. Froze on third day and had to shut down and restart. Not sure it will last. Have other TCL that needs to be restarted every few months.

Love our new tv

Do not buy

The biggest complaint seemed to be the remote. While the remote is annoying, the tv sucks. It’s always freezing, we try to restart it, streaming apps never seem to work. Very frustrating for a $650 tv.

Don't buy Google TV

With the Google TV it is super slow to respond to button pushes, changing the inputs is so laborious and slow it is frustrating. And when you pull up the OTA broadcast guide it doesn't want to work on more than one channel at a time even though it is connected to my home Gigablast on a 10G wired home network. We have a nearly identical TV that is the Roku TV version and it has no problems and reaction times are fast as can be expected (instantly). Full guide instantly, yada yada.
