I bought this to replace a 6 year old 55" Samsung that was starting to show its age and holy moly the improvement is night and day. The contrast on this TV is amazing, it's bright enough for a bright room, the speakers on this TV are okay, the colors on this thing is something else they really pop. I'm a big fan of the Google os, it's nice and fluid with no lag, it has been very good to me for gaming as well.

The TV is simply amazing! The picture quality is awesome with vibrant and true colors. The clarity is very good. The sound is unbelievable for a flat screen TV. I bought the 75" and mounted it on my patio outside. I previously strictly only bought LG and Samsung TV's and refused to bring anything else in my house. Since this TV was going outside, I decided to give TCL a try. The Google TV is awesome. On my older LG and Samsung smart TV's, there are several Apps that are not available. I had to use a fire stick on a smart TV to get the Apps I want. I dont have that problem with this TV. I watched the Lakers game outside and had the volume at less than and my neighbors could hear loud and clear. I still might add a sound bar because I want to feel the vibration of the bass. If you are looking for an amazing TV at a reasonable price, add this to your cart, or proceed to the checkout! Your search is over! I am now a TCL fan, and would by another one in a heart beat. Forgot to mention that the remote control is nice and easy to use. The only thing I dont like is that it takes time to enter passwords. LG and Samsung allow you to use a pointer to enter things quicker.

I am loving my new TCL QM6K 65" tv. I love the way most older movies and tv programs look. Not to mention newer programs. The sound is very good. The picture is almost too bright at times, but is simple to adjust. It was very easy to setup . I just hope that it lasts a good, long time.

Way Better Than My Samsung — Mini-LED is TRUTH!!!

I bought this TCL Mini-LED during a sale and paid the same price I previously paid for an entry-level Samsung. The difference is night and day — I genuinely feel like I upgraded multiple TV tiers without spending more money. ⸻ Picture Quality: INSANE for the Price This TV is bright, punchy, and the contrast is unreal. Dark scenes stay dark without crushing detail, and highlights pop without blowing everything out. My old Samsung was edge-lit, dim, and washed out in comparison. With TCL Mini-LED, the image finally looks like what you see in reviews and store demos. This is the first time I’ve watched HDR/Dolby Vision and said, “Yeah — that’s what it’s supposed to look like.” ⸻ Dolby Vision + Mini-LED = Streaming Finally Looks Cinematic I used to hate streaming HDR — it always looked too dark or flat on my Samsung. On this TCL? Dolby Vision on this display looks extremely close to physical media. Only discs still win for audio quality. Visually, this TCL makes streaming look fantastic. ⸻ Control & Adjustment Options This thing is loaded with fine-tuning options. You can adjust: • Local dimming intensity • Tone mapping behavior • Color space and gamma • White balance • Per-input settings I’m still learning all the settings because there’s so much to tweak and it actually responds to those changes. With my old Samsung, most settings barely made a difference — or made things worse. ⸻ Build & Design Solid, modern, clean. Slim bezels. The backlighting zones make a massive difference over edge-lit. ⸻ Bottom Line For the same price as an entry-level Samsung, I got: ✅ Mini-LED ✅ Dolby Vision ✅ Local dimming zones ✅ Actual calibration control ✅ A picture that makes me WANT to watch movies again Don’t waste money on an entry-level edge-lit TV. Get Mini-LED. This TCL is worth every penny.

Bought this after having some issues with an OLED TV. So far it’s fantastic, especially for $500. Pros: - Great picture - Fast, intuitive and snappy menus/ui - Great colors and black levels - 144hz is awesome for gaming - Tons of features like iMAX mode, which I’ve enjoyed for 4K Blu-ray’s - Love the controller - Surprisingly premium appearance Cons: - Not as bright as I would like - Sound isn’t great I highly recommend this tv, I still can’t believe it was only $500. To be honest I’ve avoided brands like TCL in the past but this tv has won me over and I’d recommend it to anyone who wants a great picture for a budget price.

After having this TV for a couple of months, I can confidently say it is one of the better TVs for the money that I have used. The QD mini LED is fantastic and really makes all colors pop as well as giving you great contrast. The brightness is also really good and I haven't had a point where I wished it was brighter. The higher refresh rate is also a plus, especially when I'm using my PS5. Another small but positive thing is that the TV doesn't really have much lag or input delay when using the remote. The only thing I didn't like was the settings out of the box, especially when it came to the motion settings because when watching certain content motion would just look off. All it took was just dialing some settings back. Overall, the TV is a fantastic purchase and I would highly recommend if you're looking for an upgrade but not looking to spend thousands of dollars.

Best TV for PS5 under $800

Exceeds my expectations for the purpose I bought this TV for, which is gaming on PS5. The screen is bigger than I expected (never really sat in front of a 65-inch TV before), and picture quality is pretty crisp for just about everything. Good backlighting, and I don't have much of a problem with glare, though there can be some on a really sunny day as the screen faces the back porch window. In dark rooms, it's super bright and looks great. The Dolby Atmos speakers are pretty awesome for built-in TV speakers, and I sometimes leave my sound bar and its subwoofer off just because it's easier, and the speakers are good enough to where the soundbar isn't needed. My only real gripe with the TV is that the IO ports are all on the left side (if you're looking at the TV from the back) of the TV and facing left. I really wish they were in the middle and facing downward. This would just make cable management easier and I wouldn't have to stretch the PS5's HDMI port so far. Other than that, the TV is great, especially for getting it at $300 off.

The TV itself is great. Very nice picture density, deep blacks, and colors. The UI is fluid. I've had the TV for about a month. I have an issue (not sure if software related or internally) where i get a crazy screen glitch where it distorts the screen and colors. This happens randomly when turning the TV on and sometimes last for a few minutes or longer. It eventually goes away if you slightly tilt it, which makes me think it is hardware internals. So my copy of this tv is fault. I am keeping it at 5 stars. Unfortunately i did not add geek squad and cannot get it fixed, whoever buys a tv add the geek squad

Ive had a lot of tvs including a samsung qn90a that costed 1300 dollars and i can honestly say this is the best tv ive ever had for less than half the price! I got it on sale for 550. The first one came damaged but they replaced it for free with a perfect model and they gave me an 80 dollar gift card for my trouble. Thank you best buy. Would definately recommend this tv and best buy. They did me good. Dont listen to the hate this tv is bright enough. I dont see any reason to waste money on the more expensive models. 5 stars.

I listened to all the reviews and 100% I agree. This tv has great picture quality and great viewing angle. It's WAY brighter than my old TV(Samsung CU7000). Google TV is also my favorite, it's very snappy. The gaming is so smooth. I recommend this 100%.

The TV is amazing. The sound is surprisingly loud, at 30/100 on the scale it’s almost as loud as my 5.1 surround sound. Picture and black scale is fantastic. There’s only 2 reasons why it didn’t get a 5/5. For whatever reason it won’t work with my Apple TV 4K. It seems to flicker (which is fine it’s a smart TV just kind of annoying). The other reason is there seems to be lines in the middle of the screen that look like panels pressing against the screen. You can’t really notice it when it’s on, only when it’s off in direct light.

Love this tv. Bought it to replace a 5 yr old LG that broke, and I so glad my old tv broke. Technology has gotten so much better and this tv has an AMAZING PICTURE. Bright, clear and great detail. Great blacks and contrast. Just know that you have to play around with the settings to get the pic the way you like it. Also recently bought a different brand tv and both have judder and blur issues but I was able to eliminate them on both tvs but adjusting the motion settings. 100% recommend!!!

I bought this on sale and it was delivered (on time with no issues) for $596. Out of the box, the color was perfect and there is no drag that I can see. For the money, the picture looks like a Samsung or LG that could cost over $1,000. Thanks Best Buy!!!

I replaced my Samsung 58" plasma from 2011 that went out with this TCL 65". It looks about the same footprint in size because the bezels on the Samsung were huge and the TCL are super thin. The refresh rate is good, I do not see any blur while watching sports. The sound is really good. I would suggest not to go lower than a TCL QM6K.

Big-Screen Brilliance: Stunning Picture, Google TV

I grabbed this TCL QM6K TV thinking it’d be “good for the price,” but honestly it turned out way better than that phrase usually implies. Picture is genuinely impressive for a mid-range set. Colors pop, blacks are surprisingly deep, and contrast makes movies and shows feel more cinematic than you’d expect under $600 (especially on sale). People online agree most buyers rave about how stunning the picture looks and how bright it gets in typical rooms. Best Buy Google TV runs smooth and makes everything easy to find without the annoying bloat you see on cheaper TVs. Setup was predictable-easy, which is a blessing when half the reasons you buy a new TV is because setting up tech should not be this stressful. Best Buy Gamers will like it too. The TV supports high refresh rates and gaming-friendly features, so playing on a console feels smooth with very low lag — again, pretty sweet for this price class. RTINGS.com On the downside, it’s not a flagship beast. A few people online mention that if you’re in super bright rooms or want top-tier brightness with perfect HDR effects, this won’t smack you in the face like premium OLEDs or higher-end rivals. Some Reddit folks complain it’s good, not perfect, especially in extra bright rooms. Reddit Sound out of the built-in speakers is solid for casual watching, but if you’re serious about audio you’ll want a cheap soundbar. A lot of reviewers recommend one just to elevate movie night. TechRadar Bottom Line: If your budget isn’t infinite and you still want a big screen that actually looks good, this TCL is a smart buy. Picture quality punches above its price, gaming and streaming are smooth, and Google TV feels modern. Just don’t expect flagship-level brightness or audio. Overall vibe: great performance for the money.
