The refresh rate on this tv is horrible. The remote response is delayed and could set it up using my Google home system.

TV is slow, and menu selector will go crazy pressing buttons you didn't press on the remote.

Great tv for the price. Picture wont blow you away but great for sports and movies. Plenty bright in a bright room. Built in speakers are terrible but that's to be expected.. You'll need a soundbar. Overall, very happy with it especially at the price point.

For the Price, this TV is incredible.. picture is amazing and you can have both streaming services and cable services through HDMI management !! Light weight for easy maneuvering and wall mounting. Set up is easy and best of all, it won’t break the bank!

Nice design, looks good. Picture is nice, but not super bright. It is a budget TV, so don't expect OLED picture quality here. Google TV is snappy and the interface doesn't lag much. It works well with a digital antenna and integrates nicely into GTV. The remote is easy to use, but doesn't appear to offer IR control of other devices such as soundbars, so make sure whatever you hook up to it has CEC/ARC. My only real complaint about this TV is how long it takes to set up. It was seriously about an hour of Google updates, app installs I didn't ask for, channel scanning, checking for updates again after it was already updated (why it does that I don't know) and connecting to Google Home. The updates just took forever. This is a good TV for normal people that don't obsess over RTINGS reviews and color accuracy. At the on-sale price I would recommend this TV, especially if you really only watch the news and some sports.

It has actually been good so far. It does have a lag when you first get on it, but other than that the set up was easy , picture is great even the speakers sound good

Although we have an ultra short throw projector (for a 4K/150" image) it was way too big for the living room of the house we recently bought. We toyed with a motorized screen but again that did not work so its going in a home theatre in the basement. I decided to get a mid range TV for usual viewing. I have a Dolby Atmos 7.1 sound system already and an OPPO203 4K player. However I did not want to go overboard on the TV as I am working on that big screen room downstairs. After reviewing, I decided to get the TCL 65" set. The TV takes around 20 minutes to initialize and set up. In that time there are screen savers to let you know its working away behind the scenes. Out of the box it has factory settings so I suggest that you spend a while calibrating the various sliders to meet your preferences. I for example don't want movies shot on film to have an artificially high frame rate making them look like a football game, so I switched off the smooth motion settings. I set the image to Cinema (Its slightly warm but you can correct this elsewhere on the menu) and the audio is a matter of taste Live gives excellent dialogue clarity, movie gives your movies some bass. Black levels are somewhat light. The regular image is however, very good indeed and I am very picky. However, connect a 4K HDR input at this TV comes alive. The image for the price is stunning. I tried a few movies and shows of different ages and filming media KL's the Good The Bad and The Ugly - so clear you can see the sweat in the pores of the actors!; Star Trek The Motion Picture Director's Edition - best I have seen it including in 79 at the theatre; House of the Dragon (digitally shot) - simply breathtaking. Certain blu-ray movies look ridiculously good on this set up; Patton (1970) could have been filmed last week, whilst streamed content (The Abyss SE 1989) is so sharp you can count the hairs on the back of a characters neck There are a few minus points. The aforementioned audio, whilst perfectly serviceable, is not up to the standard of Dolby Atmos you would get from a sound bar or dedicated speaker system. It certainly does not produce the sound envelope my old spare set does. On screen displays. I cannot see a way to turn off these pop ups so every time the signal changes or there is a new title on a disc or file there's at least one pop up "DOLBY ATMOS" or "DTS" on the left and the input and signal resolution at the right "OPPO 2013 3840x2160@24fps" for example. These are minor niggles. I am watching this TV far more than I expected and our nephews loved it with their online gaming at the weekend before Christmas. I mainly watch YouTube or discs/files and again for that its ideal As an entry level set its a winner

TV picture is perfect for the value of the TV. I don’t use the sound very often but when I have it’s good. The remote is easy to use and every app I could think of is available for streaming.

The picture quality is very good and the price was very good. The sound quality has had issues with some deep bass notes. It kind of sucks that you basically have to buy a sound bar separate from the thin televisions these days. The Google TV operating system works very well sometimes, but seems to lag other times. Not sure if that's the operating system itself or our connection. We use Google WiFi though, so it's likely Google's fault either way.

Really nice and slim tv for the price. Love watching my sports on this tv, the picture looks excellent. Not too bad in price either.

This is a pretty impressive TV for the price. Once again, purchased for business and using it as a screen for Zoom calls and presentation. The sound is a lot better than other TV's from reputable brand, which cost more. Is it the best value for money? Who knows...define "value" and "money". If you are on a budget this is great. If you can for $200 more, there are better alternatives.

when best buy discounts it, it is a really great bang for buck. the picture is pretty nice and the size is perfect. for an entry level TV it is perfect. It's slightly slow when wanting to switch between videos but then again the QLED upgraded version of it (Q5) is not any faster. Overall, i'd recommend for when it is discounted at around 350$.

This was a gift for my partner and it has mostly ruined every other TV I have. The size is perfect for our living room, everything works as it should. No lag. Easy to set up, easier to use. Honestly, sometimes it's even fun to use. I love to sit there and just cast random things to it. The sound could be better. But when you were working with basically a computer monitor before this is perfect as it is.

Had this tv for about two months now and its performed amazingly, great picture quality especially for the price youd think it was a big name brand tv. Its all the things I wanted in a tv, 4k so the pictures great as well its a smart tv accompanied with google so it linked all my streaming devices for me. Great price to quality for sure

This is the 2nd TCL that I have purchased, and I love this model! The price point was excellent, and the features that it has is great! Also, picture clarity is excellent, it's fast, and have not had any major issues with connectivity, streaming, screen mirroring etc. Great value for this!
