Good beginner sound bar

However, the quality of sound for the high trebles are not as crisp as I would have hoped. Although with the price it’s a great deal foe a beginner home theater system

Good Dolby effect

But it really doesn’t give very crisp and clear sound. We are using it with TCL Roku Tv and wanted to have speakers which has more crisp and clear sound. These are ok if you are looking for Dolby effects.

Decent upgrade from built in speaker for the price

Great sound bar

Attached to a TCL Roku TV (4 series purchased December 2020) and the Roku TV remote works the sound bar volume. Connected with ARC HDMI. Sound bar turns on when TV turned on, so do not need to use sound bar remote. TCL Roku TV remote can also access the 3 sound bar settings, so you get extra functionality when using with a TCL Roku TV. Wireless sub-woofer works well and adds extra bass that my old sound bar without a sub-woofer did not have. Very happy with item.

This speaker system helps somewhat but isn’t a game changer. We stopped using the subwoofer because it was too dominant and made voices muddled. As noted in other reviews, there aren’t really any options to taylor the output … I.e. you can’t boost just the trebles or midrange frequencies IMHO there’s too much bass boost. My TCL ROKU tv recognized the speaker without any intervention from me so installation was relatively simple once the cable between the tv & speaker was connected.

You have to choose because of the delay and I didn't like that because I had mounted the TV to a stand on wheels. Just choices. For me, the TV sound was great and more portable.

Don’t waste your $$$

Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.When it works the sound quality is good, however the subwoofer frequently disconnects from the soundbar and randomly comes back when least expected. I tried moving it closer and further from the soundbar and nothing worked!!! I had this connected to a TCL television and thought it would be a decent purchase since it was the same brand as my tv which works great. Sadly disappointed, highly suggest spending the extra money for a better product which will save you on time and frustration!
