    Not as crisp as you might want it to be…low top end volume. A sonos beam gen 1 without sub is a better option.

    Audio Delay causes lips sync issues!!! I had to return this. It is excellent for music and sounds wonderful. It just that all the audio processing it does causes a delay in the sound. this causes the sound to be behind the lips moving on TV. This was the deal breaker.

    I was surprised how well this unit performed. I have a 20 speaker surround setup in my movie room but I needed something in the living room. This does admirably well, it does not hold a candle to a real setup but then again no soundbar will ever achieve that.

    Bought this to go with a TCL TV at Christmas time. Immediately had issues with the sound syncing with the TV. We were able to eventually resolve this to where it was off slightly but not really noticeable. 8 months later and it has completely stopped working. I would definitely not recommend this. Get a better quality brand.

    This was my first TCL SOUNDBAR and it was ok, not great, just ok. Could not really hear the atmosphere effect.

    Nice combo w TCL TV

    Liked this sound bar and subwoofer so much, we bought a second. Using the HDMI ARC connection on the TV is great. The arc port auto turns on/off the pair. The only thing to note is we chose to disable the TV speakers on the TV, so all sound comes through the combo.

    Plug and play! The Ray-DANZ technology implemented for virtual surround with Dolby Atmos is truly impressive and the full integration with the TCL lineup of TVs makes it a no brainer in the sub $500 sound bar market. You won't be disappointed especially if paired with the TCL 6 series TV.

    Great Sound Bar with Ray-danz and Dolby Atmos

    This product was received extremely well into the household. Packaging was sturdy and the out of box experience was very nice. Set-up was pretty simple and the high end acoustics sounds awesome. Aesthetics are high end to match the sound quality.

    Pairing this set up with my TCL TV was easy and sounds awesome compared to more expensive sound bars and the nicest thing is the Roku TV remote works for both unless adjusting sound settings, great set up for TCL users

    Disappointed to the extreme.

    I bought this to go with my Samsung QLED QTQ70 65” thinking it’d be a step up in quality from the JBL soundbar I’ve had for nearly two years. I was wrong. There is no way to monitor what the volume is at, the sound level does not transfer well between what platform or streaming service you use, and the lip sync is AWFUL. I thought that with the lip sync button there might be better ability to monitor that, but my TV and this soundbar do not pair well with each other at all. When I adjust the lip sync on the soundbar, the TV adjusts its monitoring of the lip sync as well and eventually the sync drifts. Never mind the fact that it doesn’t even register my PS5’s audio - it just doesn’t recognize it! I had to unplug the eARC just so I could hear my PS5’s audio, albeit from the TV speakers. Definitely going with a Samsung soundbar as I will be returning this product. I just hope this isn’t a common issue for future customers who buy this product.

    TCL Alto 9+ Soundbar - Subwoofer Dead!

    Purchased 11 months ago. Worked fine for first several months. Subwoofer has completely died. Cannot automatically or manually pair with soundbar any more. Have tried everything in the very limited manual, subwoofer will not even enter pairing mode.

    Don’t understand some of the low reviews. Excellent sound bar. Has bluetooth, wi-fi, chromecast, virtual dolby atmos, and integrates well with TCL tv. Sounds great for the price. Very satisfied with my purchase.

    Sound is so so. My sub is already sounding like it's blown. Has a weird quirk where it doesn't stay on the last volume setting you chose, it always reverts back to Tv setting. And finally it won't connect to wifi to do an update. Overall very unhappy with my purchase. Good thing is was inexpensive.
