A: I have the same question. It’s a shame because it sounds so much better in movie mode but if someone else turns on the TV, and it defaults back to TV they think the volume isn’t working. The rest of the soundbar is great but it’s a fatal flaw. I hope they can correct it via an update.
A: Same problem here. I contacted TCL, answered some questions and now they don't reply anymore.
A: You cannot control the volume. However, you can now control the amount of base on each preset. Hope this helps! Thank you, TCL Customer Support
Q: Will this allow Roku speakers speakers to be used as rear surround?
A: This TCL Alto 9+ soundbar is not currently designed to be used with other additional speakers. Hope this helps! Thank you, TCL Customer Support
A: you have to download the atmos app for the xbox and install it and set it up on the xbox. then if you have the soundbar that supports it then it will work.
Q: how many watts of power does this have? can it work with any brand tv?
A: 540 Watts of Power
A: Likely means in bricked. Seems like this is more common than lead to believe with the Alto 9+. Did you ever get resolution on this?
Q: What drill size do I use for the wall anchors
A: You would need something like a 27/64 drill bit. However, best practice would be to match the anchor up with the drill bit. Select the drill bit that is one size bigger than the drill bit that fits inside the anchor hole. This will ensure the pilot hole is not too big, but also not too small. Hope this helps!
