    This Samsung Q70T has a great picture and the motion rate is excellent.The ease of using the apps is another plus.Overall i think this tv is a great buy and bestbuy was a great buy.

    Sync is bad! Audio terribly out of sync. You can only sync forward, not backwards, which it needs. Shouldn't need sync at all, so annoying! Tried all options on soundbar and tv, both hdmi and s/pdif optical, and still no luck. Gave it a shot and missed my return window to return it. Needs a firmware update TLC.

    Purchased to enhance my TV viewing experience as I purchased a TCL 75" Series 6 TV. I must say that the TV speakers had better sound quality than the recommended sound bar TCL Alto 9+3.1. Returned the sound bar after 2 weeks as it did not deliver a better sound experience.

    This sound bar far surpasses the cheaper Samsung it replaced. You hear every instrument and clarity is awesome. Family members say the same thing when they hear it.

    Not even close to Atmos

    We bought this just to give some improvement over built-in TV speakers for a guest room. It works fine for that purpose. However, the virtualized surround and simulated Atmos are nowhere near convincing. We can’t detect any additional height with the Atmos over non-Atmos systems we have had. Also, the curved openings meant to provide a wider sound stage seem more gimmicky than functional. For us, we don’t think the 9+ lives up to its marketing claims. The surround effects are modest at best and the Atmos effects are nonexistent. This soundbar would be a more reasonable proposition with a price point around $200, but definitely not $300 when there are much better non-Atmos systems on the market for that price.

    Not ready for prime time

    Straight up gimmick. Sound is so thin you might as well hook up a subwoofer and use your tv's speakers. I got this for $200 with the current promotion and will still return it. I hate the hollow, tin can sound that these cheap sounders put out. Add as many dust collecting plastic wings as you want, it will not compensate for the fact that the main soundbar is incapable of anything deeper than the 3 cheap tweeters can pump out. The woofer adds boom but no depth. You hear it, but don't feel it. This soundbar was made for those that feel the TV speakers are OK but wouldn't mind a little more. If you want real sound, avoid the gimmicks and just buy real soundbar/sub set.

    Works well as expected. Easy to install to a TCL 75 in series 8 TV. Plugged in through the HDMI connection and the TV installed by itself.

    Worked for tow days and then the HDMI output port burnt up. Can no longer get sound out of it. After software update the sound improved.

    Just hooked this up today and was surprised by how thin it sounds. I called TCL support and we went through everything to make sure I hooked it up right and no improvement to sound. I bought it for the Dolby Atmos but I can’t get past the tin can sound. My old Vizio soundbar is really much better. I moved to my living room and ended up with the same results. I didn’t expect it to outperform My Elac Uni’s or my main speakers but I honestly was shocked that it couldn’t perform as well as my Vizio Soundbar. I still plan to purchase a TCL Series 6 TV this holiday. This thing is going back.
