I am rating this a 4 because of the style. I took it back because of the size. I did not think it was this big, but I was using this with my AIO computer on my desk and I had no room left. Sound was nice, connection was easy, and the Bluetooth version 5 was great. High quality as well. I liked the style of the subwoofer and sound bar as well. The remote has all of the options too which is hard to find in most of the sound bars they make today. I would recommend this to anyone who plans on using this with their TV.

It is probably a decent sound bar for the money. But overall it isn't that loud. I typically keep it around 40-50/100 just to hear it well, and I have to get it up to about 85+ before it sounds loud. My old sound system I kept around 10-20 for normal listening, and it would get loud around 50. It also keeps cutting out, especially when it is turned up. Lastly, when I hit + or -, it very SLOWLY increases or decreases the volume. That's fine at first, but I would expect it to pick up speed the longer you hold the button. So going from 40-80 or visa versa seems to take forever.

Please stay away from this product. Please be aware of the return policy on this product. It has got only a 15-day return policy. Now the question comes why only 15 days for this product? Why best buy can you answer me? I would like to listen other than "yeah, we have a short return policy is set for certain items". I will tell you why; best buy is aware that this model is a faulty model from TCL and wants to clear their inventory. The lifetime of this product is 11-20 days, and you need to juggle around with the best buy and TCL in negotiating the returns factor. PLEASE DO NOT FALL INTO THIS!! Below are the issues: 1. Movie dialogues are not audible. 2. subwoofer suddenly gets unpaired (even though it is placed within 3feet apart from the soundbar). 3. Soundbar stops detecting input after sometime. Again if anyone thinks like, "yeah, every product has mixed reviews," Feel free to buy it.. but question yourself why there is a shorter returns period for this product. I hope u got my answer!!

This sound bar is just OK. It does have a “wide sound stage” but it doesn’t really provide surround sound. It can process and play Atmos and other sound formats, but it only ever sounds like stereo. Every time you turn the tv on the sound reverts to TV, so if you want to set it to movie you have to change it every time. The final straw for me with this sound bar was, even though I have a TCL tv (so you’d figure it would work flawlessly) at least 2-3 times a week there would be no audio and I’d have to unplug it and plug it back in. This ends up being a pain because of the hatch in the back that covers the plugs. It’s awkward and not easy to get on and off. Spend the money and get a more expensive one.

Great sound. Love Dolby Atmos for a low cost. Movies and games sound awesome.

Easy setup and decent quality. It is good for a small to medium room. In a large room it is not as effective

Do not hook this up with the optical connection, use the HDMI ARC setting. When you use the HDMI ARC setting it sets up automatically and does an amazing job. NOT IN THE INSTRUCTIONS! If the instructions would have spelled out how it was intended to be setup the would be a 5. Not quite as nice as the unit it replaced but still much better than the TV speakers.

This has been in Europe since last year. Got it last night. Holy smokes. It's great. I can't believe the sound for 300 dollars. I love it. My room has very high vaulted ceilings. So an up firing sound bar was out. I got a new Sony 950h in February. This ices that cake. I recommend this to everyone who wants great sound from earc. I knew this was special by the care in which it was packed.

Doesn't last that long. BT is iffy and the Bass is thin. But for an area with kids, drinks, cats, dogs, and family traffic, does it's job

The sound is good but the audio has a delay on my TCL 6 Series R635 which is very frustrating. I changed the audio to stereo (defeating the point of Atmos) and it improved but is still a problem. I need to check if the sound bar has a lag on other TVs or if its just a bad match between the TCL sound bar and the TCL TV.

It worked great and had a beautiful sound when i added it to my TCL 50" for the first 3 days, then after the third day it would not sync through the ARC hook up. After constant resetting and powering on and off it would sync up, but still no sound would come out of the bar itself. So i boxed it up,returned it, paid the extra $30and got a Sony soundbar with wireless sub and have had absolutely no issues with a crisper sound.

I bought this to go with my TCL 6-series TV I had purchased a bit earlier from the local store. At the time I didn't want to purchase a soundbar/sub as I wanted to a bit more time to research, but I did take a purchase ticket on the display with me. About a week or so later I decided to pick up this unit and when I went to the store to purchase one I found out that it was actually on sale at a reduced price when I was in the store earlier, and to purchase it now it would have been fifty dollars more. I showed the local AV guy the ticket I had picked up earlier and he promptly went to management with my concerns. In the spot they honored the earlier price, no hassles whatsoever, and away I went with the TCL soundbar/sub. Great staff and pleasant transaction (Hixon store, Chattanooga TN). The soundbar/sub are really great for the price point. Stereo sound is a bit hard to differentiate in my living room but I have a large odd shaped room so I'm not going to ping TCL on that. That said, sound fills the room, sound quality is great, and the sub really makes it sound like I'm sitting in a theater. TL;DR clear quality sound at a good price point. This unit is a keeper.

Roku TV ready soundbar means it integrate seamlessly with my TV since it's roku and I only use one remote for both. Very easy set-up, Dolby Atmos, good quality sound. 2 side firing speakers & 1 front firing delivering accurate voice positioning. Bluetooth, Google assistant & Chromecast built-in. With a wireless subwoofer to tie it all together.

Frankly this is the most amazing sound bar I've ever heard. I took back my $400 sound bar as it blew it out of the water. I also had a 6 speaker setup with a Dolby Atmos receiver and this, again, just surpassed it all. If you're looking for amazing, room filling, Atmos sound. Don't delay if you're waffling, it is just the best.

when it works, its solid - but when it doesn’t it’s a PITA. i’ve had to reset it a few times after the audio started lagging with my roku tv, but there was an update recently that has seemed to alleviate this issue. fingers crossed it will only get better with future updates. if i didn’t have a tcl tv i probably would have gone with something else, but it syncs up quite nicely so i can’t complain.

For what it is and having atmos at this price point? It’s great. Kinda sucks changing modes every time I turn it on, but that’s a very minor inconvenience. I synced up seamlessly with my existing TCL. Love the design aesthetic. I’m not an audiophile by any means, this completes my bedroom and does exactly what I need.
