Failing after 2 years

The HDMI ARC port is starting to fail. The soundbar won't turn on when the TV is turned. Have to manually switch between HDMI 1 and 2, depending on which is being used. The soundbar would detect the active input and switch on it's own, I've power cycled the sound bar and swapped out HDMI cables, no change. As of now, it still works when manually changing inputs. However its starting to show signs that it will fail soon.

Not a good experience

It basically became a decoration that sits in front of the tv. In order for it to play sound, I had to mess with the input on the tv and then switch the input back to cable. It never would connect on its own to play audio without scrolling through tv input settings. Then at some point, I couldn't get it to work at all and that's when it became a decoration

Has great bass and works great with Dolby Atmos. I actually came home two weeks ago and it was stuck on blinking ‘hello’ and I couldn’t get it to work any longer. So I emailed TCL, and they were great! They sent me a replacement and I had it within a couple days. The best customer service, I’m a lifelong customer!

Cool Surround Sound, But Poor Audio Quality

The sub is amazing at productive broad clear base. But the quality of the soundbar audio itself is TERRIBLE. No matter what setting, dialogue is dampened and hollow. There is no resonance to the sound and everything feels flat. Despite software updates, I still occasionally experienced lag between the audio on the bar and the image on my roku tv. Ultimately the audio quality is very poor, so the sound effect magic of Dolby atoms surround sound cannot compensate for that.

Big and crisp sound from a small foot print !

Works perfect with a 55" Roku TV on a 10' × 18' wide enclosed family room, producing great sound dispersion and sorround efect without rear speakers. In wall instalation was also a breeze plus easy connections and subwoofer pairing.
