The item is a poor product! It would not connect correctly to the watch for a charge. Returned and another similar product which was better purchased.

After a full charge per instructions and a factory Apple Watch charger attached it would barely charge watch

I thought this charger was overpriced for the quality. I like that the watch sits sideways so I can use it for a nightstand clock when I travel but… 1) it is made very cheap. Feels cheap. 2) It is difficult to wind your charger up. If you mess up, it is a hassle to get it out to restart. 3) If you have a small ladies watchband, your watch will not reach around to fasten around it. I like that I can charge the unit and use it for long plane rides. I like that it sits sideways for my nightstand but I feel like I paid mostly for this nice case which I don't really need. I give it 4 stars because it works well and I guess I would recommend because I like not having an extra wire draped all over and the watch charger itself is not very strong so I'm always knocking it off in the middle of the night. It's handy but just know what you're getting.

Bought this on sale for $39.99. It is well built and very compact. The fact that you can store your watch inside the case while charging from the battery is a plus! The only negatives is that like most people, you will need to use the long charging cord that came with your Apple Watch. It's rather tough to wrap all of the footage inside the charging cylinder. If you take your time you can eventually do it. The other downside is that I was only able to get 1.5X charges out of the battery on a full charge on a 42mm watch unlike the advertised 2.5X charges. Other than that at $39.99 it's well worth the cost.

From a first glance, this looks to be an elegant and useful accessory for the Apple Watch. However looks are deceiving, even when there is a clear window to look at the product in the packaging. The first issue I had with the product was upon connecting my wireless charger cable to the spool inside of the barrel. There is barely enough room for the cable to twist; therefore, the apple charging cable rubs and bends along the inner walls of the barrel at an important part of the cable, and the weakest area of the cable as well (a lot of people with Apple charging cables will know). This can easily lead to damage to a cable over time. Those cables are expensive, almost as much as one of these chargers. Secondly, once the cable is spooled, the wireless charging part of the cable sits down nicely in the slot made for it. Unfortunately the design of that slot forces the cable to stick out and bend at yet another weak point of the cable. To make matters worse, once you put the apple watch on the charger, the bands must go over the cable, which puts more stress on the cable. Thirdly, when placing the charger and watch in the the case, the space is very tight, requiring some awkward fidgeting. Finally, I've noticed that once the watch is charging, it will stop charging at a certain point, which requires me to pull out the watch and charger, then fidget with restarting the charge. Just awkward. Bottom line, you get what you pay for and its not worth it to damage a charging cable since replacement is not that cheap. Its a great idea though, and looks like there are other people catching on to making portable chargers.

I picked up this charger before a trip to supplement power for my Apple Watch. The good thing here is you can charge your watch when you are away from an outlet. The problem with this product is the design is terrible. the cable gets jammed in it and can't come out. When you try to wind up the Apple cable, the cable has to bend more than the re-enforced cable end intended it to. If i was back home i would return this.

Doesn't fit the 42mm that well. You have to shove it in. Also didn't come with a charger so you have to put your own and if it's the original Apple watch charger it won't fit because it's too long. I tried but it started to rip my wire because of how much it's being folded. Looks nice though And it's pretty convenient

The case is ok if you're traveling. Once you wrap the cable in the inner core of the mechanism that charges the watch, its very hard to unwind it. Even winding it when I first tried to get it in there was very hard to do.

This worked great for the two trips I just went on. Comes in handy even when I need a quick charge, I recommend this to anyone who can't live without their watch

This is the worst thing I've ever bought, not just at Best Buy, anywhere! It doesn't hold the magnet in place the way it should and it winds your charger to keep it stored, which, in theory, seems like an excellent idea. Instead, with every turn it ripped my charger and when I tried to remove it, it got stuck, damaged my charger even more, and took nearly an hour to get out. Do NOT buy!

Bought for my 38mm watch thinking it would be great for travel. After I finally got the chord (came with the watch) wound in the case it worked fine...until I unplugged it from the power. Failed to charge my watch once removed from the power source. Defeated the whole purpose for purchase. Very hard time getting the chord out of the case. Returning.

Love this thing and the price was GREAT! Just wish it had other colors

The charger requires a charging cable that has to be wound inside this "charger" making it hard and time-consuming to prepare for travel, but worst of all, the USB connector is "touchy" so that once the cable is coiled inside, it's hard to make sure that the connection is good. I'm looking for another option.

Did not charge the phone after a few days. Had to return.
