Terrible encounter. Geek came into my computer room and announced that my windows was expiring, altho he did not open anything. i told him that my dell pc uses windows 11, and he denied that. it was purchased in 1/2023. he refused to work on my pc, and i asked him to leave. I am a member of your services, and have happily used them until now. now i question your services mightily. - kate s. ahmadi, ph. d.

They did nothing for me. I paid for two guys somehow. One guy acted as an apprentice. I asked him if he could even plug in a tv. I paid for service and received no help whatsoever. They were instructed to back up my data. Again, nothing.

Total Tech did a get job fixing my wife's computer

The agent adjusted my outdoor ring cameras. Great.

Was not my Tv that had the problem. It was my ring camera in front. You came out twice. Neither guy fixed it. Was not camera was not showing the space that I had set it up to View. I don’t want it to show all of the neighborhood. I just let them leave. I am so upset. One battery used to last a long time. I put 2 batteries in fully charged. One has 39% - 10%

Several items were not transfer from old computer to new one, for example my email, lists etc. I need to have a new appointment again. to come and fix the missing items.

The guy was nice enough and did an ok job. The issue was and is I didn't ask for a TR I asked for them to come out and fix what wasn't working. Which by the way didn't require a TR. I feel like someone had a goal to start doing TR and my ask / request was close enough so they said let's call this visit a TR. A visit from GS used to be great 3-4years ago. Now it's hit or miss and in general just nowhere as good as the service used to be. That's why I recently canceled.

Issue wasn’t really resolved .. the lock seemed to be broken. I had to purchase a whole new lock.

The guys did put my my tv up but left off my sound Bar because of 2 small screws plus it was almost 8:00 pm and they came rushing almost every group that has came out i have to call for someone else to come back and finish the other guys job and check out how many times they have came to my home

I had a very hard time getting the squad to come back and install the keyboard correctly and included the chip.

All CAMs work, however, im not always receiving the notification of motion alert.

Had an agent replace an outdoor cam and since that day I've been experiencing problems with my system and cameras. The agent claimed it was due to me needing a mesh network so all cameras can get the wifi signal. I've had these cameras for roughly 6 months and never had any problems before the one camera was replaced. Also one camera is 3-4 feet away from my modem and it's having issues.

Someone came to my house and connected my phone and family hub which was great but when I went to use my shopping list it said I was not connected. My daughter tried to connect the phone and fridge but was not successful. Very difficult to use. I still have not received the white panel for my fridge… ugggg

Geek Squad, Best Buy, sent a TV agent to set-up my desktop computer that I bought from Best Buy. This was the 2nd time this happened for this desktop. Agent did about 15% of what I needed but tried. He had to call a computer agent who was installing a TV. o figure. Cost me $119 and still need assistance. Will not renew service.

The technician installed a ring camera i purchased at best buy and it did not work. A second tech came the following week to reboot the camera, still didnt work. Now they are saying i cannot return it or exchange it even though they brought the camera with them from the store and installed it and it never worked. But the tech never noted that on their work report, and i called best buy total tech the next day to let them know what transpired. I have been communicating with them every week regarding this matter, the second tech was suppose to bring the camera for exchange and he did not bring it according to the rep who made the appt for me. They have no problem lying to the customer!!!

Had 3 different Geeks work on it, the first one really didn't know how to convert from my old laptop to the new one everything was messed up and not everything converted. Second one did a lot better but still not complete. Third one screwed it even more and went on my desktop and started eliminating items I use on a daily basis. Such as Salesforce, Amazon, Citi Card B of A account some I didn't know about until he left, and I started using my laptop. My brother is working on it now, but I plan on returning it before the end of the month. Crazy to spend $900 for the laptop and another $200 for service.
