Ok not as good as previous versions. Too many stories.

it;s just like all the other fight games that's out there i told a coworker this will be the last fight game that i will buy

The game didn't work and i misplaced my receipt. I bought it for my husband birthday.

Period.....the mechanic sucks, its nothing like the previous games released.

Bandai Namco is known for poor translation, faulty mechanics, and absurd price to value relation. This game delivers an above average translation at the cost of DLC being almost non-existent. I purchased the game with season pass. I have gotten a few outfits and a bowling mode since release. The bowling mini-game is hardly a complex add-on. It is offline only and offers a single round or strike challenge. It would have been better sold as a specific addition. The game delivers what is to be expected of Tekken. The combos require a very specific timing or will fail. The AI is designed to take user input and respond to it before processing that into an outcome. This allows an unfair advantage to the AI, which does not rely on something that is already happening to attempt a counter. The story is mediocre, but fights are integrated well into it. The customization is extensive and (after a few hiccups) looks decent. This is about the only true strength of the game. When it released, many of the outfits would float or have awkward placement. It appears that some of this has been fixed, although a few weapons still seem more like they float near you at irregular angles. The VR mode is less a mode and more of a VR practice stage. You select a character and an opponent to fight in a single stage that is designed to look like an endless lake. There is little environment. Overall, it is what you expect. It is mostly about customizing characters and taking them online to play with friends. There isn't much else to do that will be entertaining for more than a few hours.

Tekken is one of the first games that I have played for the PS1. I always enjoyed playing Virtua fighter, so Tekken is a game that I knew I would enjoy. Tekken 7 improves on the previous titles by adding new special art moves that can turn the tide of each round, and caters also to casual gamers. The graphics is powered by the Unreal Engine and it looks amazing. The game offers new and old characters, an arcade, online, versus, and treasure modes. Treasure mode earns you new items and cosutmes to customize your favorite fighters. My only negatives about the game is the limited content offered in Tekken 7 compared to Tekken Tag Tournament/ Tekken 6, online can be very laggy also. Tekken 7 is another great title in the long running Namco franchise, hopefully Namco will add more game modes with free patches or DLC.

This game is a mixed bag in that the last time I played it the online was painfully bad with repeated disconnects before and even during matches (though it could be rage quitters). As for the offline I enjoyed that with treasure battle mode being where I spent the bulk of my time. My only wish for it is I would have preferred it to have an arcade mode like the older versions with an ending instead of the start, one fight, ending thing they put in place for the side characters but if you can take it for what it is the game is enjoyable. If your uncertain than for it to drop in price or rent it because it can be finished in a few days in terms of single player (minus possibly treasure battle). If it wasn't for the major issues I encountered with online at launch I would have put 5 and if there was the option I would have put 4.5 at this point.

The fighting mechanics, graphics, and additional content (jukebox and customization) are amazing. This is the next-gen Tekken game fans have been waiting for.

This game is so much fun if you like fighting games. I have been playing Tekken since about 1997, but even new players can jump in pretty quickly. Story mode and offline modes are fun, and the servers for online competition are stable. It could use a better training mode for learning new characters, but ultimately that is minor quibble. If you like fighting games, Tekken is A+ material.

I've played every tekken so far and this looks to be another great game, problem is they left the single player content in the dust to focus on the multiplayer.If you like to play online that is good, if not story mode is all your going to get and you won't care about the rest. Btw If you want the steelbook it might be better to buy it online, I'm not sure if its just my bestbuy but they wanted twenty dollars for the steelbook. From now on I'll probably buy online.

Tekken 7 is good, but far from great. Playing with friends or online is the way to go in this game. Single player experience is quite shallow.

Best fighting game yet compare to other fighting games out right now.

its gonna be a good game, a good story mode, good graphics, good mechanics, characters everything.

really enjoy playing this game and has good content. the online is not all that great at times so if you want consistent good connections the PC version is best.

Awesome! Fighter The Best In The Series, excellent

People sometimes sleep on Tekken and focus on SF and MK but when you think about it Tekken has a complex fighting system. Each character has like 40+ combos that you can personalize to your use to win a match up. Tekken has always been my favorite fighting game after 3 and I'm excited to see how the Mishima storyline ends.

I love all the Tekkens. This is definitely the best one yet!

Once again bandai namco has given us an awesome fighting game with tekken 7. Nothing against injustice 2 but this is by far the the best fighter for 2017 (until MvC infinite comes out ;)

I like nachos and I REALLY LOVE TEKKEN! This ain't no jive, the entire TEKKEN series kicks Kangaroo butts!
