Remote TV Control

I changed batteries but it made no difference. It will only change channels or execute on/off routines when the device is within 12 inches of the TV. This is totally unsatisfactory as a remote control.

It works for the basics and the buttons mapped incorrectly for the HiSense TV. Pause maps to Home, Exit maps to Back. The layout is also strange, navigation is inside of the volume and channel rocker buttons, it is easy to hit volume or channel by mistake.

Regular Universal Remote, nothing special.

Contacted the company’s customer service and they didn’t help, just told me to look at the manual. Someone in the questions section said if you changed the tv’s volume setting to the soundbar as main sound it would work (it didn’t). Other than that it does what it says. Works with my Roku and TV.
