We use it to replace "rabbit ears," and appreciate not having to change the setting of the "rabbit ears" when we change channels.

Does not have usb power option

The box specifications and instructions state that the amplifier may be powered from a wall outlet or from a tv usb outlet. The amplifier can only be powered from a wall outlet (120v) and the power lead from the amplifier is short. The coaxial cable, amplifier, and power lead are one unit.

This is a very good antenna. I would buy this again and tell any friends that needed one to purchase this antenna.
