Had to re position a lot. Stations reception varied even though they were all just 10 miles away.

Antenna won't even pick up a tower 37 miles away and it's rated for up to 65 miles. Description says it's milti-directional and you won't have to move the antenna around but we have to move it all the time.

You'd do just as good as this thing with speaker wire hot glued to aluminum foil. I bought an RCA compact system for HALF the price and it worked twice as well. I completed 4 competing scans in 4 locations and this "antena" consistently found 1/2 or less channels than the SMALLER and cheaper RCA. This product is cheaply made and the unit doesn't fit properly on the mount. Also, the promise made about precise gain doesn't matter once a channel scan is completed through a smart TV. Save your $.

I bought this several years ago and still works great. Works better in living room than in bedroom. Tall and thin, very lightweight.

Claimed to have a 75 mile range, this over priced piece of junk did not even work as good as the 10 dollar rabbit ears antenna. Returned it.

I thought this would be a great product for the one TV without cable. My old antenae picked up 26 Chanel’s...this one picked up 9!, back to the store & the old one reconnected Thumbs Down

Use this to pick up local channels. My rabbit ears pick up more channels. Don't waste money on this. Buy a $10 rabbit ears antenna.

I bought a new TV and this antenna yesterday to watch the Blues game. It couldn't get all of my local channels and I live 13 miles east of St. Louis. I tried it up high, opened the back sunroom doors, ect. Nothing worked. So, then I took it to the back bedroom that has a clear view to the west. Same thing back there. So, it's not the TV. I pulled out some old rabbit ears and got reception. Returning it tomorrow. 79.99 rip off for this piece of plastic.

    Worts Antenna I have owned...

I bought this to replace an antenna I purchased ages ago for less than $10.00 in hopes that it would possibly find more channels and display the ones we already have with less interference but after 4 scans with the antenna in 4 different positions it only found 5 channels. The cheap antenna finds 42 so I am returning this one. I do not recommend the TERK-Indoor Flat Amplified HDTV Antenna.

    Misses Strong Signal Channels

In-store purchase on 12/21/2016 at Clearwater, Florida. Says it's good for 65 mile radius. My location is about 40 miles from most TV towers, and per FTC website, my location should be getting a "STRONG" signal from all major networks. This antenna does not catch NBC and CBS channels, but picks up others (Spanish channels, etc. that I don't watch).

I had a $20 antenna from Amazon that got 57 channels but some were weak, so I though I would "upgrade" to a stronger antenna. This one only picked up 34 stations. I live less than 30 miles from antenna towers for all the major stations and this one could not even find ABC and CBS. Complete piece of junk. Don't waste your money. I I am sending it back.

I was very hopeful that by buying a high priced antenna with an amplifier that I would get the channels that are available locally. Even with the antenna by the window could not get any channels. Old rabbit ear antenna could at least bring in some channels. Very disappointing.

MeTV, and some channel currently playing the Partridge Family come in strong; so does the local NBC station, local ABC requires frequent adjusting of the antenna placement and local CBS doesn't even try. I want to eliminate cable but this antenna isn't the one to help me do this.

this antenna is terrible I only picked up 10 channels and the old flat wall antenna that I had picked up 38 I expected better because this has an amplifier and a 65 mile range in addition it does not pick up any VHF channels although it says it does on my way to return it now

Bought this because the salesperson said I would be able to pick up more channels. doesn't pick up any more than the cheap antenna I had that quit working. Should have bought the $30 antenna instead - what a waste of money.

I bought Terk model MTVGLS for $80 and the RCA MODEL ANTB25Z for $40. Hands down the RCA received 67 channels while the Terk only received 36 out of 67 channels needless to say very disappointing. It was twice the cost.

Does Not Even Pretend To Meet Specifications

Having done my homework through antennaweb.com, I chose to try the Terk MTVGL5 which claims to have a 65 mile range. My local NBC, ABC, and Fox transmitters are located less than 25 miles from my home, and the 40 mile products just weren't cutting it. Even this "premium" product at a premium price would not even touch a signal less than half the distance that the MTVGL5. It gets mighty boring having only ONE channel. Unfortunately, there is no cable in my town and the dish companies won't touch my apartment complex.

Really poor reception. My duaghter's $29 antenna with rabbit ears gets much better reception when we put it on the same TV. Do not buy. A complete waste of money.
