It will serve its purpose in an outside garage. The antenna was purchased to replace an item that no longer worked.

Hides behind my TV. Picks up just what I wanted, and I live in a zip code that is not easy because of the terrain. Worth the extra money.

Picks up more stations than RCA

I originally bought an RCA antenna (ANTB55EV). It only picked up about 1/2 of the local (Columbus, OH) stations. I returned it and got this one at the suggestion of a Best Buy associate. It did the trick and I now pick up all of the local stations. The Terk was about $30 more expensive than the RCA, but worth it.

This antenna has pulled in many local stations in the 30 mile radius we have TV stations. It may do more if there were more stations.

We bought 4 different antennas before trying this one. This Terk Indoor Plate antenna is by far the best. Would definitely buy again.

We dropped cable few month ago and needed an antenna for local channels. This did the trick. We live in suburbs so the closest tower is more than 50 miles away and we get clear picture with no interruptions. Placed it inside on top of the TV stand. Highly recommend for people who are tired of high cable bill.

I wanted an antenna that had the best range for the buck. The sales associate and I looked through a bunch that was in stock on the shelf and this was by far the best range per dollar. Easily hooked up at home, this antenna received more channels than my previous antenna. The mounting holes worked out perfectly to affix to ceiling. Great performing product.

I expected the system to pick up local channels within about 40-50 mile radius. However, I did not expect that, for any reception, it has to be close to a window. Without that, it is a bummer.

My TV dish provider was in dispute with broadcast networks so I requested an antenna from them. The one they sent to me could not pick up all the stations in my area. Using this antenna, I am now able to get all stations with very good signal. Unit is multi directional but you will still need to position it properly to get the best overall signal. The stand helps a lot with proper positioning.
