We had the old Terk model with the telescoping antennas and the horizontal Christmas tree shaped piece. It got broke when the parrot landed on it and knocked it down. We had it on a swiveling base and it worked pretty well for us, so I went down to get another, only to find that there was now a "new" model and none of the old style ones left. So I got the new one, and it is abysmal. All we did was fight with it and ended up watching shows with the picture frequently breaking up. Every time we changed a station we'd have to fight with it again, looping the cable around in various creative arrangements to try to get something to come in. It wasn't the flat slab's position that made much difference, but the connecting cable. I finally went to Ebay and found one of the old style ones, used, for sale and bought it. I cannot begin to tell you what a relief it is to have that one! Every station comes in with very little problem. The new models is crap.

Works ok. Depends on what room it is put in as to how good of signal you receive. Works for what I had planned to do with it.

Ok, it did ok, but my rabbit ears did better. I just think TV antenna's are a scam. It just looks better.

We are fairly far out in the country. When I tried it on the first floor it didn't pick up anything. Taking it to the attic, I can get signals from three towers. I probably should have gotten the outdoor antenna. The distance rating on the box was pretty optimistic and only by going to the attic did we come close. I would recommend it only for people who are closer than I am.

We bought this for my mother in law apartment and it picked up more channels than my huge attic antenna.

I bought this antenna to replace my ugly rabbit ears that I have had forever. As it turns out, the rabbit ears giv me better reception than this amplified digital antenna. I returned it to the store for a refund. I think that this antenna would have worked better in a city, but I live out a ways.

Unit works great but packaging is not well thought out. There is a base to mount to a wall or an included stand, however, there were no screws to attach the stand to the antenna. In fact installation instructions are very vague and unhelpful. You will have to figure some things out totally on your own. Only reason I did not give it a 5.

Don't worry about trying to get this set up all fancy inside of your home if you are wanting more than 7 channels. We ended up having to set it up outside ( which isn't a bad idea) and we are able to snag nearly 17 channels now! Really useful. We are able to catch some locals as well as sports

Solid build/quality. Sometimes hard to tune in some stations, but that may have more to do with signal strength from the station. I got it because my dad babysits my dogs and can’t figure out how to use my internet cable. Great supplement for cord cutting.

This was purchased to be used as a back up for when storms take out my dish. It was a pleasant surprise to find all the extra channels that we receive. We actually find ourselves watching some of the old shows that are on the air channels. Picture quality is very high definition.

Great customer service. The Best Buy associate spent time with me and understanding my needs. After our discussion I purchased the TERK HDTV antenna. This antenna is well worth the money. Easy hook up and very dependable product.
